The Roosters are sitting 13th after 13 rounds which is not how many people thought it would be had you asked them at the start of the year. The Warriors have entered the top 5 thanks to a 5 game winning streak. Amazingly it’s mathematically possible for the Warriors to finish this round in 2nd place on the ladder, but we won’t get too carried away. The Roosters don’t need to get carried away either. If they are going to build a run towards the finals, they should start with the basics. They are costing themselves far too much possession from handling errors and silly ruck penalties. The Warriors are looking the goods and the bye last week will only benefit them and their forwards will be ready to fire up the middle.
