Paul Gallen is still on the sideline fighting to overcome a calf injury and that alone makes the Shark’s job, to beat one of the competition heavy weights in the Broncos, more difficult than it already was.
It didn’t go well for the Sharks without Paul Gallen when they were kept scoreless by the Knights.
The Broncos were stung by the Storm late in their game last week and they will be out to assure themselves that they are capable of bouncing back and have the Sharks firmly in their sights.
The Sharks have not won in Brisbane since ’04 and all the team and individual stats seem grossly one sided. All signs seem to point to a big Broncos victory and a possible top 4 berth.
Mike’s Best Bet: $101 on the Broncos -11.5 @ $1.77 (Sportsbet)
Starting Bank: $2000, Current Bank $2398.42

6:20pm – It appears at this late stage that Paul Gallen will indeed take the field for the Sharks.
