FOR THOSE WHO DON’T REMEMBER, this is the game last year when Luke Burt needed a penalty kick to keep the Eels slim finals hopes alive and tragically missed it. This time around the Eels are long out of the finals race and are now playing for pride.
The Tigers are putting into action what their fans were praying for a month ago and that is a late season surge towards the final series, currently sitting in 7th with a chance to move to 4th or 5th with a win today. The poor old Eels are doing exactly the opposite having won only one game in their last 11, including a draw against the Dragons.
It’s hard to go past the Tigers here, but the bookies have made it too hard to find any real value.
