Terms
The object of the Competition is for the Entrants to make correct predictions on AFL matches run throughout the 2013 AFL season. The predictions will be based on head-to-head markets (where Entrants will be required to pick one (1) winner for every game of each Round and each week of the Final Series of the 2013 AFL season).
From Round 1 of the 2013 AFL Season (starting from Round 1 games commencing on 30th March, 2013, excluding games 1 to 3 of Round 1 taking place on 22 March 2013 to 28 March 2013) to Round 23, Entrants will be required to select an AFL team for each match of each Round they predict will be successful. For each week of the Final Series (4 weeks in total, including the AFL Grand Final), Entrants will be required to choose an AFL team for each match played for each week of the Final Series they predict will be successful. To submit an entry for a given Round/Finals week, an Entrant must enter an AFL team selection for every game played for that Round/Final, otherwise they will not be able to proceed to submit their entry.
Entries for Round 1 (commencing on 30 March 2013 with game 4 of Round 1) will open at 12pm AEDST on Wednesday 27 March 2013 and close immediately prior to the advertised start time of game 4 of Round 1. Entries for each of Rounds 2 to 23 open from 12pm AEST or AEDST (whichever is applicable) on the Wednesday preceding the first game of the Round and close immediately prior to the advertised scheduled start time of the first game of each Round. Entries for each week of the Final Series open from 12pm AEST or AEDST (whichever is applicable) the Wednesday preceding from the first game of the week and close immediately prior to the advertised scheduled start time of the first game of each Final’s week.
If an Entrant fails to submit an entry for a given Round/Finals week, they will not be awarded a score for that Round/week.
Entrants who select a team which draws with its opponent shall be awarded half of the head-to-head odds of that selected team.
Entrants may change their selections as many times as they wish prior to the applicable cut off time for that Round/Finals week. If an Entrant chooses a winning team, they will only be awarded with the head-to-head odds that were applicable at the last time they submitted their entry. If an Entrant chooses to change their selection, they will not be able to change only one match selection, they must change (or re-select) all other AFL teams they believe will win for that Round/Week. If an Entrant selects the same AFL team again the odds given will be the odds at the time of re-submission.
