Not to be outdone by the EFTPOS & VISA cards offered by CrownBet, Sportsbet, Ladbrokes, Betstar and Bookmaker, bet365 has launched its own cash card called the bet365 Visa Card.
The card is designed to give you instant access to your winnings. You can transfer winnings from your wagering account to your card and then instantly access your funds from any ATM where Visa is accepted. You can also make online and in store purchases.
Funds can be transferred from your bet365 Visa Card back to your wagering account by visiting the Members area and following the instructions.
You cannot load personal funds onto your bet365 Visa Card, you can only load funds from your wagering account.
How to get a bet365 Visa Card
To apply for a bet365 Visa Card, join bet365, log in to your account, select Members from the Services menu, go to Bank then select the bet365 Visa Card tab and follow the instructions.
In order to qualify for your bet365 Visa Card your ID must be verified, you must be an Australian resident and your address details must be correct and up to date.
Once you have met the criteria and have applied for your bet365 Visa Card, it will take 7-10 working days to arrive. You will then need to return to the bet365 Visa Card page in the Members area to activate it.
Once funded, your bet365 Visa Card works like any Visa Prepaid card. You can access your cash from any ATM where Visa is accepted, make online purchases on any site accepting Visa, as well as making in store purchases instantly with Visa payWave. Please note that although bet365 does not apply a charge for cash withdrawals, some ATM providers might.
Only winnings can be transferred to the card
Only winnings settled to your withdrawable balance can be transferred from your wagering account to your bet365 Visa Card. For example, if you deposit $100, then place a $10 bet which returns $40, your balance will be $130 but you can only withdraw the $40 returns to your bet365 Visa Card and not the remaining $90 of the deposit. Winnings from bets placed with bonus funds cannot be withdrawn to your bet365 Visa Card until the applicable bonus has been completed.
Fees and limits
Your initial bet365 Visa Card is free but a replacement card will carry a $5.00 fee.
The Daily ATM Cash Withdrawal limit is $2,000.00 with a maximum of $1,000.00 per transaction.
The maximum balance you can have at any one time $5,000.00.
The maximum point of sale per transaction is $3,000.00.
The maximum point of sale, including ATM withdrawal transactions, is $5,000.00.
The maximum number of transactions per day is 100.
The minimum ATM withdrawal amount is $20.00.
The minimum load amount is $20.00
The maximum annual card balance is $70,000.
The payWave transaction limit is $100.00.
