Match Comments
Arsenal vs Hull |
The home team have not lost any of the 28 similar games, winning 21. There is some slight value on the draw here at 6.50.
Middlesbrough vs Everton |
There are some mixed signals in this game with Middlesbrough the value choice in the overall record, they show no value in the similar games stats. Again the draw looks reasonable value given the 37% occurrence in similar games.
West Ham vs West Brom |
There is value for the draw again here with 36% of similar games ending in a stalemate, that’s odds of 2.77 vs a price of 3.40 on the betting markets.
Stoke vs Crystal Palace |
Guess what ? Another game with draw value. This time 34% in similar games and looking at Stokes home form there has been 4 draws in the last 6.
Sunderland vs Southampton |
Home value here and Sunderland who are in reasonable form considering their league position look the best option here at 4.00. They dismissed Palace in a single half last week and confidence must be high. That can’t be said for the Saints who have had a mixed and miserable few weeks.
Man United vs Watford |
A typical home favorite match. Man Utd are too short here but on the face of it its hard to back against them. Watford on the Asian Handicap looks like a good option with a 1.75 lead. The away team have picked up 74% of points in similar games.
Liverpool vs Tottenham |
The match of the weekend surprisingly sees no value for Spurs. 36 similar games have been played featuring one of these teams and the away team have only won 19%. That puts them at odds of 5.26. You can only get 3.55 on the betting markets. Liverpool have also had the better of the H2H games.
Burnley vs Chelsea |
A line up of two in form teams. You wouldn’t know it looking at the odds and as always Burnley have been marked up too high at home. There is a real chance Chelsea will walk away with the win here so backing Burnley on the Asians is probably a safer bet. From a value perspective we don’t think any team should be priced at less than 1.5 away from home in the EPL.
Swansea vs Leicester |
Not much in this but both indicators are showing small value for Swansea. They are the favourites here, but for us its too close to call.
Bournemouth vs Man City |
When you get these sorts of odds the home team always scream value. On the overall record they do just that but in similar games the home team have won a dismal 14% of games and are priced correctly here.
