Race 6:
JUKEBOX looked to be right up to the best as a two-year-old and he looked sharp winning the recent jump out. Williams sticks with him, he’ll be hard to beat from the good gate. VERANILLO pressed on too long on the heavy tracks last prep. If he finds his best off two quiet trials he’ll be in the finish. LONE EAGLE will flash at them late with speed on up front. DUCIMUS can lift on his first-up run getting a perfect run just off pace. They’ll go quick with plenty of speed drawn off the track.
Race 7:
Tricky race with so many of the Weir runners unseen in jump outs or trials. Looking for a big run from HUMIDOR. He showed he was up to top grade last prep and did run a big race fresh in a slow run race. He’ll flash home. While HARTNELL hasn’t ever won fresh he has run big races behind Winx his last few goes. If he can get cover he’ll go close. BLACK HEART BART goes in everything, he’s a star. HE’S OUR ROKKII can run well from the good gate and MONTOYA’S SECRET with others will charge late.
Race 8:
The betting around BRAVE SMASH is one of the keys to an open race. He’s a Japanese import but does look more a sprinter and does bring solid form. If he meets with support he could be hard to hold out. VEGA MAGIC is a legitimate Group One sprinter. If he can get cover from the gate he’ll fight out the finish. LORD DA VINCI draws for a perfect run just off speed along with BURNING PASSION that’s racing right at the peak of his form. Many more have claims in a wide-open race.
Race 9:
OZI CHOICE stuck on well last start doing all the work in front. If he’s able to roll forward and take a sit he’ll have a bit more left for the finish. Big betting watch the imported mare TAHANEE. She’s got good ability and showed a nice turn of foot in a recent jump out. PORTMAN was slightly disappointing last start but a soft run midfield should have him in the finish. DIVINE MR ARTIE gets another chance from the good gate and watch for TIAMO GRACE launching from the back.

WINX she’s back. Trials have been good. Impossible to tip against her. Wins. FOXPLAY resumes and hasn’t been far from the winner in her trials at Randwick. Just missed in the Light Fingers resuming last time in and one of the key chances in the Exacta behind WINX here. ECUADOR resumes and should be fit enough after three trials. Rosehill winner this trip resuming last campaign and goes in all the exotics here. ANTONIO GIUSEPPE resumes and hasn’t been far from the winner in a couple of recent trials. Rosehill winner first-up last preparation and a must for the wider exotics.
Race 7:
DIXIE BLOSSOMS resumes on the back of a Randwick trial win. Placed in the Triscay resuming last time in before an easy win in the Guy Walter. Looks ready to go fresh here. IMPOSING LASS resumes and hasn’t been far from the winner in recent trials at Rosehill and Randwick. Has won five from 10 and shouldn’t be under-estimated fresh. EURO ANGEL resumes and has had the benefit of two trials. Runner-up in the Millie Fox resuming last campaign and goes in everything fresh here from an ideal gate. SWEET REDEMPTION resumes and should be fit enough after three trials. Yet to win first-up in five fresh runs but placed on three occasions and at least a place chance fresh here.
Race 8:
OMEI SWORD resumes and looked ready to go when a close second in latest trial at Warwick Farm. Runner-up in the Surround resuming last time in. Right up to winning this fresh from the inside gate. SPECTROSCOPE import who resumes and has trialled nicely on two occasions. Won successive races at the start of his Australian career and looks ready to go fresh here. BURNING PASSION won successive races at Eagle Farm and Doomben before being run down late in the Winter Stakes last start. Has been freshened-up and right in the mix back to 1200m. DAYSEE DOOM resumes and wasn’t far from the winner in a recent Randwick trial. Placed in the Millie Fox resuming last time in and at least a place chance fresh here.
Race 9:
SUPER TOO led and weakened when a beaten favourite at Randwick resuming. Group III runner-up last preparation and set to improve sharply with the run under her belt. SANGIOVESE chasing back to back wins this track and distance. Gets a lovely run again from the gate and can win again. RULE THE RIVER resumes and should be fit enough after three trials. Placed in the Nivison resuming last time in and at least a place chance fresh here. CLIPPER yet to miss a place in eight starts and four times a winner. Toughest test to date but hard to knock the winning form.
