Race 7: MISSROCK
Race 8: I’M FEELING LUCKY
Race 9: MIGHTY LIKE
Race 6:
AZAZEL was impressive through the line first-up and he’s only going to be better out to the longer trip. Well in at the weights, he’ll take a stack of beating again. TYCOON DANCER could be the value runner. He looked good in a recent jump out and gets a perfect run. BANDIPUR will roll forward and give them something to chase and both LONE EAGLE and FRANKEL MY DEAR will be steaming home. Deep race with not a lot between them.
Race 7:
Leaning to HEATHERLY without wanting to take a short price. She’s flying in jump outs, she loves this track and she always fires fresh. She’ll either lead or box seat from the good gate so will get her chance. The Weir pair SPEEDEOR and EL DIVINO are the big queries with no public trials. Both suited just off the strong speed so respect any betting support. Watch for the first-up specialist MISSROCK to be launching late with O’MALLEY.
Race 8:
The first part of the race is the key for DUKE OF BRUNSWICK. He always brings his best 3rd-up and he has been racing well. Thrown in at the weights, if he can get cover or slot in he’s the one to beat. NOZOMI could go around over the odds. He’s never fired fresh previously so must have come back well. From the good gate, he’ll run well. HERE TO THERE gets a perfect run again, he can be in the finish. Watch for HARLOW GOLD to flash home and respect any betting moves for the Weir runners with no trials to go on.
Race 9:
Hoping for a touch of luck slotting in early with OAK DOOR from the tricky gate. Sharp in a recent jump out, he’ll run the 1200 metres out strong. Respect the good money for OBERLAND at his first run for the Weir stable. He went to the line under a hold so should have plenty left for this. If RED ALTO is still fresh enough staying at this trip he’ll launch late. HAY BALE is right at the top of his form and might get a tow across with ROCKET TOMMY.

Race 6:
ASSIMILATE impressive winning both starts to date and defeated a subsequent Saturday metropolitan winner last start. 35-days between runs but kept up to the mark with a trial and a winning chance again. MAHALANGUR well supported and backed up the betting confidence with an impressive debut win at Newcastle. Looks right up to Saturday grade and a genuine winning chance. RUNAWAY made the promising D’argento work when runner-up here two runs back and too good for a maiden field at Canterbury last start. Can go on with the job after a confidence boosting win. ASTORIA resumes and close-up in both recent trials at Randwick. Warwick Farm winner on debut and Group III placed in three runs in his first preparation and goes in everything fresh here.
Race 7:
PARIAH resumes and has trialled nicely on two occasions leading into this. Canonbury winner and Blue Diamond runner-up in four runs in his first preparation and looks ready to go fresh here. TULIP resumes on the back of a close second in a Cranbourne trial and the winner Formality won at Randwick last week. The Magic Night winner last preparation and looks ready to go fresh here. JORDA resumes and the winner of a recent Randwick trial. Won the Gimcrack only run in her first preparation and looking for a market lead fresh here. ANOTHER SIN fought back strongly and survived a protest to win a Highway Handicap on debut. Looks to be going places and shouldn’t be under-estimated here.
Race 8:
HOGMANAY nice return when runner-up at Rosehill resuming. Unbeaten in two runs this track and distance and gets the chance for a repeat launching from the inside gate. SPECIAL MISSILE working through the grades with four straight wins including an all the way victory this track and distance last start. Same weight here after the claim and a winning chance again. ROCK MYLADY hasn’t had much luck in his two runs this time in. Just needs even luck in running here to be right in the finish peaking third-up. FRANCESCO placed in successive races at Randwick before finishing on the placegetters heels at the same track last start. Bright place prospects again.
Race 9:
BONNY O’REILLY promising mare resuming from a let-up on the back of successive trial placings at Rosehill and Kembla. Won five on the trot last preparation and placed in the Group II Dane Ripper at Doomben. The one to beat. DENPURR never saw daylight at Rosehill resuming and looked to have something to offer. Randwick winner this trip second-up last preparation and a repeat is on the cards here. SELITA battled on well when placed at Rosehill resuming. Stakes placed at Doomben second-up last preparation and rates as one of the key chances here fitter second-up. SIR PLUSH hasn’t had much go his way in three runs since winning at Rosehill resuming. Another wide gate to overcome but with any sort of luck will be right in the finish.
