Race 6:
VOODOO LAD is an outstanding horse fresh and he loves this track and distance. With the hot speed on up front he should prove hard to hold out. SHEIDEL gets in well at the weights and she’s trialled up in great shape. She can either hold the lead or box seat and be the one to get past. CRYSTAL DREAMER and MALIBU STYLE both resume off strong jump out wins. They’ll both go forward and be there for a long way. LEGLESS VEUVE and ROYAL TUDOR go in exotics.
Race 7:
VEGA MAGIC was a huge win fresh giving away a lot of weight. No problem out to this trip, he’ll go forward and be right on pace and be super tough to get past. HEY DOC is a big danger. Straight into the box seat, if he sees daylight from the run he’ll be hard to hold out. BLACK HEART BART can bounce back hard so long as we are on a dry track and SINGLE GAZE could be the value off to solid jump outs here.
Race 8:
Look out for a big fresh run from HARLEM. He ran a big race fresh in his first Australian prep and he was strong in the latest trial. From the good gate, he can get into the finish. TALLY gets out to a perfect trip 2nd-up. He’ll look to slot in not far off the pace and he’ll run it strong. MONTOYA’S SECRET is another big improver if she can be closer from the good gate and the same goes for AMELIE’S STAR. From the good gate DULVERTON goes in exotics in an even race.
Race 9:
GRANDE ROSSO ran a huge race fresh and he always improves with racing. If he has a touch of luck getting cover from the gate he’ll fight out the finish. SNITZSON can be a big improver as he rises in trip and he was caught in the slower part of the straight last start. He’ll flash home late. OZI CHOICE falls straight into the box seat. Rock hard fit he’ll kick and be there a long way. Watch for a huge fresh run from the stayers HARDHAM, ANAHEIM and COOL CHAP.

CHAMPAGNE CUDDLES won her first two starts including the Pierro Plate at Rosehill on debut. Really got going the last 100m when a close third in the Silver Shadow resuming. Right in this with the run under her belt. FORMALITY has won three from six and returned a winner with a fighting victory in the Silver Shadow. Suited under the set-weight conditions and a winning chance again. ALIZEE fought on strongly but couldn’t get past FORMALITY in the Silver Shadow. The inside gate gives her a chance to reverse the result. JOYFILLY OURS former New Zealand filly placed in the Sires before crossing the
Race 7:
WINX freakish win resuming in the Warwick Stakes. The only thing her rivals can hope for is she had a gut buster first-up. That might be wishful thinking. Will win again. LIFE LESS ORDINARY terrific return at Randwick finishing a closing second. Import who has a big win in him this Spring. Doubt it will be here but a big chance for the quinella. SARRASIN import who has shown promise in his two Australian starts including a runner-up finish in the Villiers. Fitter second-up and a strong quinella chance. SENSE OF OCCASION resumes and runner-up in latest trial at Newcastle. Placed in the Doncaster fresh last time in and goes in all the exotics.
Race 8:
ECUADOR terrific return when a close third in the Warwick Stakes resuming. Won the Carrington this track and distance second-up last preparation and a repeat is right on the cards here. INVINCIBLE GEM won four races in her first preparation and an impressive return winning the Missile last start. Still scope for improvement and right in the mix again. TOM MELBOURNE desperately unlucky not to win the Spring Preview resuming when he was severely checked in the straight. Has won two races second-up and a great chance to make amends. HAPPY CLAPPER resumes on the back of successive trial placings at Randwick. Has a solid fresh record and goes in everything first-up.
Race 9:
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS impressive return to Australian racing winning at Rosehill two runs back and should have finished much closer this trip last start. Just needs even luck in running here to be right in the finish. ROCKET COMMANDER has finished on the placegetters heels both runs this time in and goes in all the exotics peaking third-up here. DAWN WALL resumes and has trialled twice. Won four from seven in her first preparation but over the longer. Still capable of getting into the placings fresh. VELADERO resumes as a gelding and the winner of a recent Warwick Farm trial. Has won first-up previously and respecting any positive betting moves.
