Race 6:
ROOMOOZ was a super win first-up holding out Tulip. She’ll only improve for the run and falls straight into the box seat so should take beating again if she gets out on the turn. SHOALS has been going along nicely in jump outs. A perfect run midfield or better will have her hard to hold out. SANADAAT was a super win fresh in an easier race. Straight into a perfect run, she’ll be in the finish. LIMESTONE has claims with luck from the tricky gate. BLONDIE could be the value and BANISH flashes home.
Race 7:
Hard to go past BRAVE SMASH. He was well backed at his first local start and with a bit more luck he possibly should have beaten Vega Magic. Well in at the weights, if he jumps clean and has a touch of luck getting cover they won’t hold him out. OAK DOOR was a good winner first-up over this track and trip. If he has any luck getting cover rolling forward he’ll be in the finish. SANTA ANA LANE doesn’t win out of turn but has been racing well his last four starts. He goes in any exotics. KEEN ARRAY will enjoy the rise in trip. He’ll steam home from the back.
Race 8:
Tricky race with a lack of speed. ARTICUS was a totally different horse 2nd-up last prep and he wasn’t beaten far fresh this time in. If he can hold his spot midfield or better from the good gate he’ll run well. HE’S OUR ROKKII wasn’t far away from Hartnell first-up. He’s got a bit more dash than most so goes in everything from the good gate. RHYTHM TO SPARE is super fit and flying and ABBEY MARIE will flash home late. Respect the kiwi mares if they meet with support. They both have a touch of class.
Race 9:
The Weir stable hold a strong hand. RAW IMPULSE was given a quiet ride first-up but did warm up nicely through the line. He’s got an outstanding 2nd-up record so if he can get into the three-wide line he will be hard to hold out. BIG DUKE was strong fresh against the pattern of the race. In ok with the claim, if he holds his spot midfield he can run at them late. STAMPEDE has had a solid grounding for his fresh run. He’ll roll over looking to sit outside the lead and will fight on. BOOM TIME and ETYMOLOGY next best.

Race 6:
OMEI SWORD did her best work late in the Show County resuming after blowing the start. Three weeks between run but has trialled in the interim. Right in the mix with the run under her belt. ZESTFUL chequered path in the straight at Rosehill resuming. Four-weeks between runs but kept up to the mark with a Gosford trial placing. Just needs even luck in running from the gate to be right in the finish. BONNY O’REILLY putting together a super record winning eight from 12 and a strong winner this track and distance resuming. Has to overcome an awkward gate but so honest and cannot be left out. GHISONI resumes and runner-up in a recent Randwick trial. Hasn’t been seen for over year but at her best is a high-class mare and no surprise to see a forward showing fresh.
Race 7:
MENARI terrific win in the Rosebud resuming lumping 60.5kg. The one to beat again under the set-weight and penalties here. PARIAH could not have been more impressive winning the San Domenico resuming. Still plenty of scope for improvement and right un the mix again. INVADER finished his race off nicely resuming at Randwick. Won the Sires in the Autumn and right in this fitter second-up. KEMENTARI resumes on the back of a Randwick trial win. Showed promise in two runs in his first preparation including an easy win at Randwick. Shouldn’t be under-estimated here and goes in all the exotics.
Race 8:
TANGO RAIN led all the way to win over 1100m here last start. Drops 3kg and still scope for improvement. A winning chance again with an ideal barrier draw. SUPREME EFFORT placed at Rosehill resuming. Generally holds his form second-up and right in the mix from a good gate. TOP STRIKER hasn’t had much luck in three runs this preparation jumping from barrier nine on each occasion. Capable of improving sharply from a better gate here. ZUMBELINA resumes on the back of two solid trials including a Warwick Farm win. Heavy tracks against her last preparation. Expecting a much-improved campaign this time in.
Race 9:
PEACOCK placed at Rosehill resuming. Stakes winner at Caulfield earlier in his career and right in this fitter second-up. THE PHAROAH led all the way to win here two runs back then found the 1500m a touch too far last start. Right in this back to 1400m here. OKLAHOMA GIRL resumes and has had the benefit of two trials. Two wins four placings from six starts last preparation and goes in all the exotics fresh here. COSMOPOL hasn’t had much luck in his two runs this time in. No surprise to see a sharp improvement launching from the inside gate.
