I AM A STAR finished seventh last start at Flemington and has won at Moonee Valley before, serious player. JENNIFER LYNN won three of nine when faced with a good track and Blake Shinn has had success aboard previously, chance to place. HEAVENLY DESCENT won or placed five of last seven and has outstanding form at this track, place hope. MONTOYA’S SECRET 2 from three wins have been in the dry and capable of finising strongly, capabable of getting into the money.
Race 7:
SHE WILL REIGN resumes after a 27 week spell and won only first-up attempt on debut, genuine contender. HEATHERLY winner or placed in five of past seven and has multiple wins at Moonee Valley, could upset. JUNGLE EDGE Finished midfield last start at Moonee Valley. A speedy type and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw. Place hope. ABILITY in outstanding form winning four in a row and, came on strong to win last start at Sandown on a heavy track, each-way claims.
Race 8:
AZAZEL a strong finisher and has won here before, has solid claims. MASCULINO is a winner of two in a row and gave nothing else a chance to win last start at Moonee Valley, don’t treat lightly. SHOWTIME won or placed four of last six, still in this. WASSERGEIST back from six week let-up and came on strong when just beaten at only start at Sandown, strong place chance.
