Liverpool vs. Manchester United |
Back Man Utd +0.5 in the Asian Handicap at 1.54 (Betfair)
Man Utd are unbeaten in their last 6 EPL fixtures against Liverpool, winning 2 of their last 3 visits to Anfield. United are unbeaten in the EPL this season with a 6-1-0 record to start the campaign, with 6 clean sheets in those 7 games. Liverpool, meanwhile, haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last 4 games. The only caveat to the 2017/18 season form is Man Utd have had a soft run of fixtures, which is why I’m taking them in the Asian Handicap rather than in the head-to-head.
Manchester City vs. Stoke City |
Back Man City to win to nil at 2.00 (Sportsbet)
Man City have been on a rampage since September, scoring 17 goals in 4 games without conceding. This includes a classy 1-0 win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge prior to the international break. They also managed to keep a potent Liverpool offence quiet in a 5-0 home win. Stoke City have been held goalless in 3 of their last 4 visits to the City of Manchester Stadium and with the form City are in, a win to nil looks better than 50% chance of happening.
Crystal Palace vs. Chelsea |
Back Chelsea in the head-to-head at 1.418 (Pinnacle)
Crystal Palace are 0-0-7 this campaign having failed to score a single goal. A 5-0 defeat to Man City followed by a 4-0 defeat to Man Utd shows Palace are unable to pose any difficulties to the top sides at the moment. The injury absences of Christian Benteke and Wilfred Zaha aren’t helping matters. Chelsea have a few injuries of their own, which has caused them to drift out from 1.29 to 1.40+, which I think makes them great value given the enviable depth in the squad. Chelsea lost 1-0 to Man City last round but they are 4-0-0 on the back of a defeat over the last 12 months.
Back Chelsea to win to nil at 2.20 (bet365)
Chelsea have kept clean sheets in their last 2 visits to Selhurst Park while Palace have failed to register a single goal in the EPL this season. The absences of Benteke and Zaha make this a good value selection.
Leicester City vs. West Brom |
Back Leicester City in the head-to-head at 2.08 (Pinnacle)
Leicester City have only won 1 of three EPL home games so far this season, but their two defeats were to 1-2 to Chelsea and 2-3 to Liverpool. As the home favourite Leicester are 7-2-2 over the last 12 months. West Brom, meanwhile, are winless in their last 5 EPL games and are 3-4-10 when installed as the away underdog.
