Chelsea vs. Stoke City |
Back Chelsea in the head-to-head at 1.182 (Pinnacle)
Back Chelsea -1.5 at 1.555 (Pinnacle)
Chelsea have gone 16-1-2 as the home favourite over the last 12 months while Stoke City have gone 2-5-12 as the away underdog. Chelsea have won 6 of their last 7 at home against Stoke City and have a six-game winning streak at Stamford Bridge coming into this clash. Stoke’s previous two visits to top six sides this season have been disastrous, losing 7-2 to Man City and 5-1 to Tottenham. Stoke have lost their last 5 straight to sides in the top half of the table and they lost 4-0 at home to Chelsea earlier in the season. With the busy schedule favouring the larger clubs with greater squad depth, another heavy scoreline looks on the cards.
Bournemouth vs. Everton |
Back Everton +0.5 at 1.675 (Pinnacle)
Bournemouth have gone 8 games without a win and they’ve conceded 11 goals in their last 3 games. Five of their last 7 opponents have scored at least 2 against them. Under Sam Allardyce Everton continue to be a tough side to break down as they’ve gone unbeaten in their last 7, keeping 5 clean sheets in the process. Backing the draw at 3.39 (Pinnacle) is definitely an option. Had you wagered $1 on every Everton away fixture over the last 12 months you would be up $16.54. I’m going to take Everton +0.5 instead, however, due to the current rate at which Bournemouth are conceding goals.
Manchester United vs. Southampton |
Back Man Utd in the head-to-head at 1.38 (Unibet)
This is more a bet against Southampton than it is a bet on Man Utd. Southampton have gone 0-1-7 as the away underdog over the last 12 months and they’ve just agreed to sell star centre back Virgil van Dijk to Liverpool. van Dijk didn’t feature in the game against Tottenham midweek, in which Southampton conceded five goals.
Crystal Palace vs. Manchester City |
Back Man City in the head-to-head at 1.28 (Betfair)
Manchester City have had an extra day to prepare for this fixture. They’ve won their last 11 EPL clashes and have gone 15-2-1 as the away favourite over the last 12 months. Man City have won 8 of their 9 clashes against Crystal Palace since the South London club was promoted back into the Premier League.
Back Man City to win 2-1 at 10.00 (Betfair)
Man City’s last two visits to Selhurst Park were won by just 1 goal. Four of City’s last 8 wins were by 2-1 scorelines and the last time they visited Palace they won 2-1.
