DU WELL (8) Was fighting out the finish when winning two runs back at Sandown and dropping weight today. Should muster plenty of early speed. Can win this. TROPEZINA (7) Has hit top form this campaign with 2 wins from as many starts and should be going forward early. Good win last start at Caulfield. One of the better chances. THORONDOR (3) First run back from a break. Tailed off when beaten by almost 10L at the track last start but back in an easier grade. Place wouldn’t shock. OLLIVANDER (2) Racing fresh today after a break. Weakened under pressure when 14th last start at Caulfield but will find this grade easier. Worth an each way bet in this.

Race 7:
CHAMPAGNE CUDDLES (2) Almost snapped up a win when 2nd two runs back at Rosehill and finishes off strongly. Should be too good. GLENALL (5) Chimed in with a win three runs back at Hawkesbury and has a nice advantage with a good barrier. Hard to hold out. THERMAL CURRENT (1) Good run when placing 3rd last start at Moonee Valley. Must respect. MISSROCK (4) Fell back to finish 9th last time at this course but has a good draw. You can expect a good each way.

Race 5:
DU WELL was sent out favourite at Caulfield last start and although beaten was not disgraced. Should sit in behind what looks a solid speed up front and will have last crack. She can return to the winner’s stall. Was impressed with the sharp turn-of-hoof THE SISTERS showed on debut at Mornington. Sure to be better from her race experience and expect she will be charging home. TROPEZINA was tough from the front at Caulfield. Done nothing wrong this prep and will be tough to catch again. THORONDOR is the query. Took on hot races last time in work and if forward enough may be too smart for these.

Race 7:
Can’t see them applying all that much pressure to CHAMPAGNE CUDDLES in the early stages and she may get some cheap sectionals. If she is forward enough first up she can steal this in the last 200m. Can never leave THERMAL CURRENT out of the winning chances when he comes down the Flemington straight and he seems to be getting better with age. GLENALL has won two of four first up and a recent Rosehill trial win suggests he is ready. Be interesting to see if barrier 1 is an advantage or not. Going to give MISSROCK another chance as not sure she was in the best part of the track last start.

Race 5:
Pace from Tropezina, Beerz With Clint and Physicality. DU WELL won first two from a break before finishing runner up at Caulfield last time in restricted class, where she couldn’t catch Tropezina but has a huge turnaround in the weights here. Has the nice weight drop and can measure up. Will be tough to hold out. TROPEZINA has won both runs this campaign and looks the main danger. Maiden winner fresh then then beat Du Well last time bit meets her 6kg worse for a length win. Will take catching again. THORONDOR hasn’t raced since tackling Group 1 class before a break. Is a fresh up winner and from the inside cod blow these away if returning at best. THE SISTERS was a debut winner who found the line nicely and has good upside. Should be winding up strongly.

Race 7:
Most of these like to sit back so not huge speed here for a five furlong dash up the straight. Bullpit should cross to the lead. CHAMPAGNE CUDDLES looks the one to beat fresh. Last run was in the Group 1 The Epsom and when last resuming paced in Group 2 class. Has the ability and looks tough to stop late. THERMAL CURRENT got home hard over this journey at the Valley last time and with fitness will be winding up strongly again. MISSROCK is going better than form suggests having tackled tougher company lately. Rates highly in this class. GLENALL has the inside gate and will be winding up strongly fresh.

Race 5:
PRAIRIE FIRE Mark Zahra a bonus and expected to settle off the speed, has solid claims. THORONDOR let-up for 11 weeks and winner when on debut at Morphettville, dangerous. BEERZ WITH CLINT coming off a win to break maiden at Moonee Valley and carrying less weight, not without each-way claims. DU WELL has been running well this campaign winning twice and placing in all other outings, looks threatening.
Race 7:
CHAMPAGNE CUDDLES back after 16 week break and winner of three when first-up including ran third at Rosehill last go, major contender. SNITZKRAFT all wins have come when faced with dry ground and won three of six as a favourite, needs the breaks. GLENALL resumes after a 32 week spell and looks ready to go following convincing trial win at Rosehill, place only. THERMAL CURRENT in the money last start running third at Moonee Valley and won once this prep at Flemington five runs back, strong place chance.
