Crystal Palace vs. Liverpool |
Back Liverpool in the head-to-head at 1.45 (Betfair) – BEST BET
Crystal Palace’s struggle for goals has seen them quietly slide down the table. To be fair they are in the midst of a horrid run of fixtures: Man City, Arsenal, Leicester City, Chelsea and now Liverpool. What we’ve seen in recent weeks is they don’t have the ability to trouble the top sides at the moment. Palace have gone 0-2-5 as the home underdog over the last 12 months. Liverpool, meanwhile, boast a 14-4-0 record as the away favourite over the same period. They have gone 11-1-0 this season and have won their last 4 straight visits to Selhurst Park.
Everton vs. Norwich |
Back Everton in the head-to-head at 1.43 (Betfair)
After a horror run of four straight defeats Everton appear to have turned a corner with a 2-1-1 run. This is more a bet against Norwich, however. The Canaries bring 0-1-6 form into this clash and have gone 0-1-5 away from home this season.
Arsenal vs. Southampton |
Back Arsenal in the head-to-head at 1.54 (Betfair)
Arsenal bring 0-2-2 form into this clash, with their poor defence letting them down too often. They’re up against Southampton, however, who have been awful of late, bringing 0-1-6 form into this fixture. Arsenal have gone 6-1-0 against Southampton in their last 7 meetings at Emirates Stadium and the Gunners have gone 13-4-1 at home over the last 12 months. I expect them to return to winning ways this weekend.
Brighton vs. Leicester City |
Back Leicester City in the head-to-head at 2.08 (Unibet)
Brighton have won their last three home games but I’m betting against them this week due to the imperious form of Leicester City who have gone 6-1-0 in the last seven rounds. Their last three games were won by a combined 13 goals to nil. Brighton have gone 0-1-3 against Leicester City since promotion and in recent memory this is the best form The Foxes have been in. Leicester have more points at this stage of the campaign than they had in their title-winning season.
