Aston Villa vs. Sheffield United

Back Sheffield United in the head-to-head at 2.28 (Unibet)
Back Sheffield United +0.5 at 1.35 (bet365)

Aston Villa will be under the pump with five of their remaining ten games coming against top-seven clubs. Sheffield United received good news during the Covid-19 break with captain Billy Sharp, vice-captain Oliver Norwood and David McGoldrick all signing contract extensions. Aston Villa bring 0-0-4 form into this clash while the Blades went 3-1-0 prior to the break. Sheffield United have only lost twice away from home this season and they have gone 2-0-0 as the away favourite. They currently sit 2nd in the interactive form guide for away fixtures against weak opponents, while Aston Villa sit bottom for home fixtures against strong opponents. Aston Villa have gone nine games without a clean sheet, which is the main reason why they’re in relegation trouble.

Brighton vs. Arsenal

Back Arsenal +0.5 at 1.32 (bet365)

Brighton have only won 1 of their last 14 games while Arsenal are unbeaten in their last eight. The Gunners bring a three-game winning streak into this clash and they are unbeaten in their last seven away fixtures. Brighton remain the only EPL side without a win in 2020. Arsenal have drawn 5 of the 8 times they’ve been the away favourite over the last 12 months, which is why I’ve shied away from them in the head-to-head market.

Bournemouth vs. Crystal Palace

Back Crystal Palace +0.5 at 1.55 (bet365, bet365)

Bournemouth have a poor 1-3-2 record as the home favourite over the last 12 months. They take on a Palace side that won their last three fixtures to nil and have a respectable 4-5-5 record as the away underdog over the last 12 months. Bournemouth have only beaten Palace once in four attempts at Dean Court.

Aston Villa vs. Chelsea

Back Chelsea in the head-to-head at 1.55 (Unibet)

This is more a bet against Aston Villa than it is a bet on Chelsea. Aston Villa will be backing up after their Thursday fixture against Sheffield United while Chelsea will be fresh. Aston Villa were in ice-cold 0-0-4 form prior to Covid-19 and they sit bottom of the interactive form guide for home fixtures against strong opponents. Aston Villa have gone nine games without a clean sheet and they’ve lost their last five fixtures against Chelsea.
