Wolverhampton vs. Crystal Palace |
Back Wolves +0.5 at 1.24 (bet365)
Wolverhampton have gone 7-5-1 as the home favourite over the last 12 months. Crystal Palace come into this fixture on the back of a win, but that was against the relegation-threatened Fulham. Prior to that they were in 2-2-9 form dating back to late June.
Burnley vs. Chelsea |
Back Chelsea in the head-to-head at 1.50 (bet365, BlueBet, Sportsbet, Unibet)
Burnley fell to a sub-par Tottenham last week to extend their dire run to 0-1-5. They have lost their last three home fixtures as well as their last three home fixtures against Chelsea.
Liverpool vs. West Ham |
Back Liverpool in the head-to-head at 1.34 (Unibet)
Liverpool have won 28 of their past 29 league games at Anfield.
Aston Villa vs. Southampton |
Back Southampton +0.5 at 1.60 (bet365)
Both sides have had excellent starts to the season but I’m siding with the visitors, who have won their last three fixtures against Aston Villa. Out of respect for Villa’s 4-0-1 start I’ve opted for Southampton in the Asian Handicap rather than the head-to-head.
Newcastle vs. Everton |
Back Everton in the head-to-head at 1.95 (Sportsbet, Unibet)
Newcastle bring 2-3-6 form into this clash and they’ve lost four of their last five home fixtures. All four of those home defeats were by 2 or 3 goal margins. Everton have won four of their last six and they’ve gone 5-1-1 as the away favourite over the last 12 months. Note that the Premier League lists James Rodríguez as a 75% chance of playing due to a muscle injury. Those who are more risk averse may want to wait to confirm that the Everton midfielder is playing before backing them. He was absent in Everton’s sole defeat this season. Rodríguez has scored three goals and provided three assists in his five league appearances this campaign.
Fulham vs. West Brom |
Back the draw at 3.40 (Unibet))
Four of the last five EPL meetings between the two resulted in a draw.
Back the 1-1 correct score at 7.00 (bet365)
Three of the last four EPL meetings between the two resulted in a 1-1 draw. Neither side has won any of its last seven EPL fixtures.
