Race 9: Trekking (2.30)
Race 7:
WHAT ABOUT MOSES (13) Game effort to win last time at Albany and second up from a spell. Expecting to settle just off the pace. No shock to see a win. ABSOLUTE (9) Got going late when 4th last start at Kalgoorlie. Can go through the gears. Among better hopes. MANHATTAN MONEY (1) Got the upper hand late when winning last time at Kalgoorlie and hard to fault at this distance. Will be looking to sit just behind the leaders. Tracking very well this preparation. Must respect. MEGADON (7) Did a good job when winning last start at Geraldton but up against stronger competition. Should land a nice spot just off the speed. This field suits
Race 8:
ROYAL COMMAND (10) Third up from a spell. Nice show when placing 3rd last run at this track. Likely to be first past the post. UTGARD LOKI (12) Good run placing 2nd last start around here. Likely threat. ARCTIC STREAM (3) Ended up 2.4l behind the winner at this venue last run on a good surface but likely to race off the speed. Not without claims. DOUBLE DIGIT (4) Won two runs back around here. Should race just behind the speed. Looks value and a good place bet.
Race 9:
TREKKING (1) Rocketed home into 2nd last start at Moonee Valley and very competitive this campaign. Success in a barrier trial at Belmont on Nov 23rd. Could put a good margin on these. INDIAN PACIFIC (12) Won narrowly two runs back at this course and won’t be far away during the run. Trainer has gone for the winkers on, take note. Wouldn’t leave out of multiples. CELEBRITY QUEEN (16) Won narrowly last start at the track but has more weight to carry. Each way. STAGEMAN (8) Hit the line well when 2nd last start around here and finishes off strongly. Been in the money 3 from 4 attempts this preparation. Can take this out.

Race 7:
MEGADON gave them a galloping lesson at Geraldton last start, powering away ove the final stages. He should get an ideal run in transit and will take holding out. WHAT ABOUT MOSES was strong late winning at Albany last start. Expect he will sit up on the speed. MANHATTAN MONEY knuckled down over the last 200m and finished too well at Kalgoorlie last start. She’s been racing in super form and is a major player in this. LONG KNIFE BROTHER comes into this ready third up. Not far off them in either start this time in, he’s one for multiples.
Selections: 7. Megadon (top tip), 13. What About Moses, 1. Manhattan Money, 14. Long Knife Brother
Race 8:
ROYAL COMMAND looks ready to win. He gets out to the 2100m third up and he has powered home into placings in his first two this prep. This looks his race. PADDYS SHADOW is so honest. She just keeps trying her hardest but is finding it hard to win. Placed in three of last four, she must be included again. Forget DOUBLE DIGIT went around on the heavy track last start. He’d won two previous and can bounce back in this. TELLEM WE’RE COMIN was another who battled on the heavy last start. Don’t be surprised to see him bounce back in this.
Selections: 10. Royal Command (top tip), 9. Paddy’s Shadow, 4. Double Digit, 2. Tellem We’re Comin
Race 9:
Looking for William Pike to make it a Railway/Winterbottom double as he picks up the ride on TREKKING. Arguably should have been a dual Group 1 winner this prep with two luckless Moonee Valley placings. He looks top pick on a dry surface. STAGEMAN will need some luck because he will get back but if he gets into clear at right time he has an explosive burst. ELITE STREET has untapped ability. The query is weight for age against some seasoned campaigners. INDIAN PACIFIC makes own luck in first couple and he may try and steal this on straightening.
Selections: 1. Trekking (Best of the Day), 8. Stageman, 13. Elite Street, 12. Indian Pacific
Race 7: Megadon each-way
Race 8: Royal Command

Race 8:
THE HARROVIAN (1) Was fighting out the finish when winning last start at this track and first start for a new trainer Toby Edmonds & Trent Edmonds. Should enjoy a cosy run off the pace. Going well this preparation winning 3 from as many attempts. Should take beating. RED CHASE (2) Solid win last time at this track. Expecting to settle just off the pace. Been in the money 3 from 4 attempts this campaign. Will be in the finish. EMERALD KINGDOM (4) Game effort to win two runs back at this venue and can save some energy from the gate. Shows good early pace. Rates a winning chance. SOXAGON (6) Strong record when third up with 2 wins from 3 attempts. Finished more than 7l behind the winner around here last time on a good surface. Should improve today and finishes off strongly. Likely threat.
Race 9:
JADENTOM (2) Showed promise when winning last start at this track and let up. Flying this preparation with 2 wins from 2 starts. Good chance and wouldn’t be surprised to see it pick up a win. INVICTUS SALUTE (5) Nice effort when winning last time at Randwick. Wouldn’t leave out of multiples. NIEDORP (11) Third up. Winner two runs back at this course but up against stronger competition. One for the trifectas and first fours in this race. JAMI LADY (4) Generally strong second up with 3 wins from 4 attempts. Scored a victory three runs back at Eagle Farm and displays good tactical speed. Should be around the mark.
Sportsbet – Race Comments and Selections:
Race 8:
Days feature is the Recognition where we get to see The Harrovian once again who is now trained out of the Gold Coast by team Edmonds. Emerald Kingdom should lead off the rails gate, nos.3 & 11 the most likely to also push on. Tipping against THE HARROVIAN is like shooting Bambi however I’m playing the villain here putting RED CHASE on top, drawn a lovely gate he’ll once again score a perfect run & we know he’s a top of the ground horse these days who can run quick time. THE HARROVIAN goes for 10 straight, impossible to knock just think the other one is better placed. Place hopes aplenty!
Selections: 2. Red Chase (value bet), 1. The Harrovian, 4. Emerald Kingdom, 10. Profit
Race 9:
Great way to wind up the day with this very open race for the fillies & mares. As with the previous race there’s more than a few capable of pushing on which will create a solid tempo. JADENTOM is in cracking form of late & although returning after a slight break here will no doubt be wound up to run well. SOCIALISING may go around in the previous however only needs one scratching here & comes up with a better draw, effective fresh & has a big finish. So many here with bad draws suggesting we could see many scratchings, although likely to be better for the run SKATE TO PARIS is one to draw ok.
Selections: 2. Jadentom (top tip), 17. Socialising, 3. Skate To Paris, 4. Jami Lady
Race 8: Red Chase
Race 9: Jadentom
Race 9: 2. Jadentom

Race 5:
DEEP SPEED (4) Chimed in with a win two runs back at the track and gets some weight taken off today. Should muster plenty of early speed. Main hope. NICOLINI VITO (5) Fought on gamely when winning last start at the track and having third run back from a spell. Looks very sharp this campaign with 2 wins from as many runs. Appears well in this. OCEAN BEYOND (8) Did a good job when winning last run at Geelong and fitter for debut run. Ticks plenty of boxes and looks like value. ILOVETHEGAME (6) Good win three runs back at Sandown and expecting to settle positively. Underrated.
Race 8:
CORUSCATE (2) Left nothing to chance when winning three runs back at Caulfield and very competitive this preparation. Should enjoy a cosy run off the pace. Open to improvement and is a strong chance again. PREZADO (5) First up from a break. Got the prize when winning two runs back at Flemington and goes down in weight. Should be very competitive and is a genuine threat. SEEMINGLY DISCREET (11) Won last run at Cranbourne and likely to be well placed early. Going well this preparation winning 2 from 3 attempts. One of the main dangers. SARTORIAL SPLENDOR (1) Having second run back from a spell. Game effort to win last time at this track and displays good tactical speed. Wouldn’t leave out of multiples

Sportsbet – Race Comments and Selections:
Race 5:
Speed good: 2,3,4,6 are all possible leaders. 1,8 take sits? DEEP SPEED held third in fast race at 1400m/ Flem latest on tough day to lead. He easily beat Show Some Decorum here prior, that horse then pressured ILOVETHEGAME here before being beaten 3L. NICOLINI VITO ran by them both at his first go on dry ground and defied the pattern of the night. Ilovethegame was only 1st-up and has relative weights advantage. FREE TO MOVE had excuses last time when wide.
Selections: 5. Nicolini Vito (top tip), 4. Deep Speed, 6. Ilovethegame, 1. Free To Move
Race 8:
SPEED good: 1,3,9 plus 6,7,11 all going forward. SATORIAL SPLENDOR led and held off CONDO’S EXPRESS and HUMAN NATURE here fresh with pattern onside. Human Nature then ran very well in the Doveton Stakes without a ton of luck. PROPHET’S THUMB was also luckless at a key stage there. CORUSCATE beat them both home and meets them better at the weights now. SEEMINGLY DISCREET was very competitive with Shamino as a 3YO, that horse won said Doveton Stakes. GRANDVIEW AVENUE rolled odds-on METEORITE and meets him 1kg better. PREZADO flies at 1000m and recent jumpout was terrific.
Selections: 11. Seemingly Discreet (value bet), 2. Coruscate, 3. Runson, 5. Prezado
Race 5:

TOO GOOD TOO HARD (5) Put in a competitive run when placing 2nd last start at Flemington and finishes off strongly. Has been a model of consistency since coming back from a break. Respect in this company. ONE MORE JACK (10) Handy enough when winning two runs back here and proven performer at this trip. Expected to fight out the finish. PROPHETS THUMB (2) Came on strongly when 3rd two runs back at Caulfield but rises in weight today. Should just about get the run of the race. This field suits. SAVATOXL (1) Showed promise when winning last start at this track and expecting to settle positively. Very competitive this campaign. Good prospect for the exotics at least.
Race 7: Prophet’s Thumb each-way
Race 7: Too Good Too Hard
Sportsbet – Race Comments and Selections:
Race 7:
TOO GOOD TOO HARD ran home strongly to finish second to Fiesta in a Group 3 race at Flemington last time. The extra 100m is a plus and this isn’t any harder. ONE MORE JACK wasn’t disgraced in a strong race at Flemington last time. He was impressive winning on the Parks track the start prior. LAKHANI ROSE was sent for a break after taking out a mares race here in September. She’s going to need some luck from the inside gate. SAVATOXL, DEBT COLLECTOR, PROPHET’S THUMB (also accepted to run at Moonee Valley) and I REMEMBER YOU are others with claims for multiples.
Selections: 5. Too Good Too Hard (value bet), 10. One More Jack, 11. Lakhani Rose, 6. Debt Collector
Race 4: 1. Farooq
Rosehill
Race 2: 2. Almania
Race 3: 5. Another One

5. Gaulois
Quaddie: 1,6,10,11/1,2,6,8,15/1,4,14/2,4,8,11
Race 6:
BONVICINI (10) Finished 2.2l from the winner at Flemington last start on a good surface but carrying less weight this time. Always seems to find the line well. Main hope. GREYSFUL GLAMOUR (6) Solid run on the pace before weakening to finish 2nd three runs back at Randwick and will appreciate the drop in weight. Displays good tactical speed. Has to be included. LAURE ME IN (9) Was fighting out the finish when winning last time at Newcastle and should race just behind the speed. Strong form this preparation winning 2 from 4 starts. Strong hope. ROCHA CLOCK (11) Really dug deep when winning last time at Flemington and suited by the weight drop. Might take a while to wind up but should be hitting top gear in the straight. Can make a claim in this race and is a strong each way hope.
Race 7:
PHAISTOS (6) Charged home into 3rd last time at Sale and third up today. Should land a nice spot just off the speed. Better claims. OUTRAGEOUS (10) Having second run back from a break. Good win last start at Flemington and displays good tactical speed. Could go well. THROUGH THE CRACKS (15) Landed the spoils when winning last start at Newcastle and finishes off strongly. Open to improvement and has a show in this field. RANIER (2) Put in a competitive run when placing 3rd three runs back here. Might take a while to wind up but should be hitting top gear in the straight. Marginal chance.
Race 8:
VARDA (14) Having second run back from a break. Got the upper hand late when winning two runs back at Randwick and strong form at the trip. One of the major players. INVICTUS SALUTE (12) Left nothing to chance when winning last run at Randwick and can save some energy from the barrier. Worth strong consideration. SNITZ (4) Really dug deep when winning three runs back at Randwick and should muster plenty of early toe. Right in this. VILLAMI (11) Fought on gamely when winning two runs back at Warwick Farm and shows good early pace. One for the each way players.
Race 6: Bonvicini and Laure Me In
Race 7: Through The Cracks and Outrageous
Race 8: Inanup each-way
Sportsbet – Race Comments and Selections:
Race 6:
Only speed comes from WOLFE and GREYSFUL GLAMOUR and therefore both should be considered each-way chances at the very least. Going with BONVICINI though. Very interested to see her readjust up this way. She’s been running on soundly in all runs this prep and while I expect that’s her approach again she may not have to get too far back from this draw. Her greatest success was winning the G3 Vanity early this year, with McEvoy aboard. GREYSFUL has had excuses in all recent Melbourne flops. Back to Sydney and onto dry, she must be respected. ROCHA CLOCK at 2000? Probably perfect.
Selections: 10. Bonvicini (top tip), 6. Greysful Glamour, 11. Rocha Clock, 1. Wolfe
Race 7:
Speed from 13, 10 and 4. Doubt they really race along. PHAISTOS has an option to be better than midfield from a low draw but we’ll see whether that pans out. Just a bit too wet for him at Sale, he has had 5 weeks since but trialled soundly at Hawkesbury on 16/11. I think stablemate GAULOIS should not be forgotten about. He has place 9 of 11 at Rosehill and in the two unplaced runs he was beaten inside 1L. THROUGH THE CRACKS a dynamic performer but today’s barrier will like have him a long way back (and off just an even tempo?). Not saying he can’t overcome it but he does need to stretch beyond 1400m for the first time as well.
Selections: 6. Phaistos (top tip), 1. Gaulois, 15. Through The Cracks, 10. Outrageous
Race 8:
Speed from 15 and 11, with 4 also possibly pressing. INANUP hasn’t seen a dry track since early this year but he has no problems on any surface. There’s no claim here for regular rider Ryan but he should have him sitting pretty in the run. Like that Hilo/Edison form as good enough to measure up here as well. SNITZ is a big danger for sure. Opened last prep with back-to-back wins and was then beaten three-quarters by Classique Legend. A 12/11 trial here perfectly sound. Can’t risk. POETIC CHARMER good fresh and will find a dry track here (which he is supposed to be better on).
Selections: 13. Inanup (top tip), 4. Snitz, 10. Poetic Charmer, 12. Invictus Salute
