Race 1:
THE MOVE (12) Showed promise when winning last run at Warwick Farm and dropping weight today. Displays good tactical speed. Strongly consider. GEE TEE TEE (6) Chimed in with a win three runs back at Eagle Farm and shows good early pace. Key hope. LE PALMIER (3) Brave effort to win two runs back at Eagle Farm and third up from a spell. Placed 2nd in a barrier trial at this course on May 11th. Serious player. VARDA (2) Second up from a break. Ran on into 5th last time at Hawkesbury but rising in weight today. Looks a great place bet.
Race 2:
RELOADED (2) Ran on strongly when 2nd last time at this course. Expecting to settle just off the pace. Cannot underestimate. FABRIC (3) Third up. Game effort to win last time at Morphettville and ideal trip as proven previously. Well suited and should prove hard to beat. CUBA (1) Weakened to finish 10th last time at Randwick. Gets in nicely and should muster plenty of early toe. Expect to go close. LUVOIR (7) Displayed potential when winning two runs back at Hawkesbury and shows good early pace. Among better hopes.
Race 3:
LOVE TAP (3) Had a break from racing and returns to competition. Chimed in with a win two runs back at Rosehill and going down in grade. Should muster plenty of early speed. Can win this. INCREDULOUS DREAM (11) Game effort to win last time at Morphettville and drops back to a suitable grade. Go close. AIM (1) Winner three runs back at Gold Coast and shows good closing speed. Major player. HOLYFIELD (2) Third up from a spell. Slipped back to finish 5th last start at Eagle Farm but dropping in class. Chance for exotics punters.
Race 4:
HANG MAN (1) Game effort to win two runs back at Caulfield but rising in weight today. Displays good closing speed. Well suited and should prove hard to beat. WARNING (3) Made up ground when 5th last time at Flemington and can go through the gears. Suitably placed in this race. SO YOU WIN (6) Third up from a break. Caught the eye when 3rd last time at Eagle Farm and goes down in weight. Should be very competitive and is a genuine threat. SEAT OF POWER (12) Displayed potential when winning two runs back at the track and suited by the weight drop. Likely to be well placed early. Consider an each way bet.
Race 5:
GIANNIS (4) Good show when placing 3rd last time at Randwick but resuming. Winner in a barrier trial at Royal Randwick on Apr 9th. Expect to go close. SEE YOU IN SPRING (11) Chimed in with a win last start at Morphettville but up against stronger competition today. Flying this campaign with 2 wins from 2 starts. Likely threat. PRINCE OF BOOM (7) Found another gear when winning last start at Sunshine Coast and backs up quickly today. Should enjoy a cosy run off the pace. Respect. TIGER OF MALAY (2) Made considerable ground when 2nd two runs back at Rosehill and winkers go on for the first time. Expecting to settle just off the pace. Won a barrier trial at Royal Randwick on May 3rd. Capable of getting into the money.
Race 6:
SENOR TOBA (8) Nice effort when winning last run at Randwick and displays good closing speed. Prominent showing expected and won’t be far off them. HIGH SUPREMACY (7) Flew home into 2nd last time at Randwick. Expecting to settle just off the pace. Can get the job done. KHOEKHOE (1) Didn’t attack the line when 7th last run at Randwick. Should be going forward early. One of the top hopes. KUKERACHA (4) Third up from a break. Kept finding the line when 3rd last time at Eagle Farm and will try to take advantage of the barrier. Has each way claims.
Race 7:
EDUARDO (2) Won by a big margin two runs back at Rosehill and shows good early pace. Success in a barrier trial at Warwick Farm on May 7th. Racing in good form and must respect. WILD RULER (9) Won narrowly last run at Randwick and solid performer at this trip in the past. Very tidy this campaign winning 2 from 3 starts. Well placed and has solid claims. TREKKING (1) Having second run back from a spell. Good run when placing 2nd three runs back at Moonee Valley but racing in stronger company. Should land a nice spot just off the speed. Definite claims. SPLINTEX (5) Got the upper hand late when winning last time at Randwick and easy to come into at the distance. Marginal chance.
Race 8:
ATHIRI (3) Second up from a break. Winner three runs back at Eagle Farm and solid performer at this distance in the past. Appears well in this. INTREPIDACIOUS (10) Won narrowly last start at Caulfield and second up. Should muster plenty of early speed. Expected to fight out the finish. FIESTA (1) Hit the line well when 5th last run at Randwick but rising in weight today. Can go through the gears. Can’t knock. OUTBACK BARBIE (4) Good show to run 2nd three runs back at Gold Coast. SUPERIUM (10) Having third run back from a break. Kept finding the line when 2nd last time at Caulfield. Key player. STARVIRGO (5) Winner last run at this course and second up from a spell. Should get a lovely cart into it from just behind the pace. Worth keeping safe.

Sportsbet – Race Comments and Selections:
Race 1:
‘Stradbroke Season’ is well & truly underway & we have a huge day of racing on Saturday with the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 our feature. Up to 35mm of rain predicted this afternoon as I type Wednesday before sunny mid 20’s return Thursday onwards, track rating will be good or soft all dependent on that forecast rain. THE MOVE can win this on dry ground however if soft I’m not confident. GEE TEE TEE had zero luck first up unable to secure a run near the inside, should have finished a lot closer & has a very good soft track record. Respecting BEAU IDEAL who draws well.
Selections: 6. Gee Tee Tee (Top Tip), 5. Beau Ideal, 3. Le Palmier, 2. Varda
Race 2:
Small field here where the Sydney visitor Cuba leads for fun on the map, Fabric & Right Or Wrong can take up spots behind. Going with the Melbourne trained mare FABRIC who comes off a Group 2 win at Morphettville a fortnight back, should gain the right run just off the speed & likely just a bit too good for these. CUBA must go in, likely to get a picnic in front & wasn’t far away last time after a tough run in front. RIGHT OR WRONG has had plenty of issues over time however he keeps on keeping on, his first up effort was good, ok second up & will appreciate 1600m here. RELOADED gets J-Mac!
Selections: 3. Fabric (Top Tip), 1. Cuba, 5. Right Or Wrong, 2. Reloaded
Race 3:
No clear leader on the map, maybe Love Tap? Nos.2, 4 & 11 all capable of racing handily. With that the likely scenario LOVE TAP is the one to beat, only defeat at his first prep came in the Group 1 Spring Champion when only 5L away, may been looking for the paddock by that stage. Anywhere near fit (monitor market) he should be beating these. INCREDULOUS DREAM draws poorly however can push on & most likely finds a spot, form down south good enough to figure here. Three runners from the Tony Gollan stable, thought STAROSA was best last time, wide gate no help though.
Selections: 3. Love Tap (Top Tip), 11. Incredulous Dream, 12. Starosa, 7. Palladas
Race 4:
Seat Of Power likes to roll along in front & should do so providing Get Stuck In doesn’t have ideas of leading, nos.7 & 10 not far away. I’m with HANG MAN who draws well enough to settle around midfield, recent form very consistent numerically however it’s his last start that stands out form wise splitting Zaaki & Polly Grey at Randwick 3 weeks ago, they were both dominant last weekend. Where is WARNING at? We’ll know more after this of course, been going around in Caulfield, Melbourne & Australian Cups, steadily hit the line latest, expecting similar here. PLATINUM INVADOR, running on late.
Selections: 1. Hang Man (Top Tip), 3. Warning, 2. Platinum Invador, 4. Get Stuck In
Race 5:
Pace here from the unbeaten trio See You In Spring, Maotai & King Kapa, Miss Hipstar may push on from the wide draw? Going with FRONTMAN who by all reports came through his first local start in good order, having not raced for almost 3 months going into that he’s going to take a ton of benefit & draws well here for J Mac. TIGER OF MALAY doesn’t draw so well, definitely has the form should things pan out however can’t see him being any closer than midfield. Locals PRINCE OF BOOM, KING KAPA, MISS HIPSTAR & BERDINI’S GIRL all in with a chance here should the visitors disappoint.
Selections: 5. Frontman (Top Tip), 2. Tiger Of Malay, 10. Miss Hipstar, 7. Prince Of Boom
Race 6:
Sagacious & Yangtze Rapids both drawn out the main pace in the Rough Habit, Bold Executive from the pole can push on as can Achiever. Should the track be dry I’m with SENOR TOBA who is the one on the improve, concern is his two losses have been on rain affected ground, saying that his late sectionals in both have been in the top three of the race. On a genuine soft though I’ll go each-way the stablemate FORTIFIED who is really hitting his straps at the right time, arrived on the line latest & is a real staying type, he’ll just keep improving with each run. HIGH SUPREMACY in the mix.
Selections: 13. Fortified (Top Tip), 8. Senor Toba, 7. High Supremacy, 1. Khoekhoe
Race 7:
The highlight of the day is the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 where there’s no doubt Eduardo will lead, I’d expect Splintex to do the chasing with Wild Ruler camping third. With the ground likely damp EDUARDO has to be the one to beat, his record on soft/heavy going at a higher level beating Nature Strip & mixing it with the likes of Gytrash etc. is clearly above anything else in this race. Nash will rate him early, build the revs & then go for home swinging the turn. WILD RULER only the 2 starts on wet ground for one placing & one ok effort, cannot sack on that. BIG watch GRAFF, remember Jonker?
Selections: 2. Eduardo (Top Tip), 9. Wild Ruler, 8. Graff, 5. Splintex
Race 8:
We’ll have a full field here, map suggests 10 & 20 (em) the main pace however plenty capable of racing handily. ATHIRI had no luck whatsoever first up at Hawkesbury, just couldn’t get a clear crack at them down the straight & went to the line with plenty in the tank. From last prep excellent & drawn perfectly here for Kerrin McEvoy. Another who had zero luck first up was the Gold Coaster MAOZI who would have won had she seen daylight earlier, rattled to the line late going down by less than 2L, tougher task however likely up to it. INTREPIDACIOUS right in it also, might get a softish lead?
Selections: 3. Athiri (Top Tip), 13. Maozi, 10. Intrepidacious, 11. Asharani
Race 9:
Axe, Constant Flight & Dr Why Not to roll forward in the closer with the latter having drawn right off the track. Keen on AXE who was dominant in two Gold Coast wins (ran slick time in both) before giving the very smart yours truly’s pin up horse Skins a run for his money at Doomben also in quick time. Skins was too good late however this one beat the rest by 3.5L after racing up outside a strong speed. SUPERIUM will need luck from the draw however respecting his Melbourne form & chances improve on drier ground. SEGALUS holds a better wet track record, he’s the opposite of SUPERIUM!
Selections: 11. Axe (Top Tip), 7. Segalas, 10. Superium, 3. Cristal Breeze
Race 4: 2. Platinum Invador
Race 7: 2. Eduardo
Quaddie: 1,7,8/2/1,2,3/7,10,11

REALM OF FLOWERS (6) Kept finding the line when 2nd two runs back at Rosehill but hoping that the added weight won’t hurt. Shows good closing speed. Suitably placed in this race. PERSAN (3) Really dug deep when winning three runs back at Moonee Valley and carrying less weight this time. Can go through the gears. Better claims. MIAMI BOUND (5) Came on strongly to finish 3rd last start at Randwick but rises in weight. Should get going late. Warrants a bet. GRAND PROMENADE (2) Was all too good winning last start at Sandown and will appreciate a good alley. Displays good tactical speed. Ticks plenty of boxes and looks like value.

Race 6:
SPEED: 2 may lead 3 with 10, 9 & 8 taking trails. Terrific race. Positive signs from CONSTANTINOPLE at Warrnambool. PERSAN put in a rare average effort here last time and MOHICAN HEIGHTS ran straight by. Persan is clearly advantaged by WFA here and expecting better. GRAND PROMENADE was dominant last time. MIAMI BOUND ran home well in a Sydney Cup beating home REALM OF FLOWERS, who was shuffled back then went to (slower) inside lanes yet still managed to run race-fastest last 200m! Good thing beaten for mine. 3YOs THROUGH IRISH EYES (has high ceiling!) and SALTO ANGEL are right in this.

Race 1:
LAUNDY (7) When $19 ran 5th last run at Caulfield but won’t be far away during the run. Hard to overlook. DR DEPENDABLE (2) Third up from a spell. Only whacked away when 6th last run at this venue. Should improve and can find a nice position from the draw. Should go well. CANFORD (5) Really dug deep when winning two runs back at this track and drops back to a suitable grade. Has the ability to figure. CHUCK A LUCK (3) Sent around at $7.5 and came in 5th last run at Cranbourne but third up from a break. Should land a nice spot just off the speed. Major player.
Race 2:
KARACASU (1) Fought on gamely when winning two runs back around here. Will give a big sight. BUTTER BLONDE (4) Was first to greet the judge when winning last time at Warrnambool and should muster plenty of early toe. Strong hope. SALAMANDERS (6) Nice effort when winning last start at Geelong but up against stronger competition. Drawn to sit just in behind the speed. Looks promising in this race. HERESY (7) Rattled home nicely into 2nd last run at Geelong and having second race start. Can give this a shake.
Race 3:
MADDOX (11) Had a comfortable win last start at Ballarat and displays good tactical speed. Gets a chance to win. NOT ENOUGH EFFORT (3) Did its best work late when 3rd two runs back at Cranbourne but carrying more weight than last time. Should jump out and bowl along. Could prove to be very difficult to beat. KAYSERI (6) Fresh today. Got the upper hand late when winning two runs back around here but hoping that the added weight won’t hurt. Ticks plenty of boxes and looks like value. LARIMER STREET (2) Ended up 4L behind the winner at Sandown last time on a good surface but let up. Success in a barrier trial at Strathalbyn on Apr 30th. Should be very competitive and is a genuine threat.
Race 4:
RUBISAKI (1) Rattled home nicely into 3rd last run at the track and finishes off strongly. Look for a bold run. BROOKLYN HUSTLE (4) Made up ground when 5th last run at this course and displays very good closing speed. Winkers off could be an important change. Won’t be far away. HUMMA HUMMA (2) Flew home into 2nd two runs back at this course and goes down in grade. Should land a nice spot just off the speed. Good prospect for the exotics at least. PAUL’S REGRET (5) Couldn’t shake them off when 2nd two runs back at Caulfield and looks well graded. Has scope so do not ignore.
Race 5:
FLEXIBLE (3) Produced an eye catching run when 3rd two runs back at Randwick and goes down in class. Might take a while to wind up but should be hitting top gear in the straight. Definite claims. MIMI’S AWARD (4) Put a gap on the rest when winning last time at Wangaratta and carrying less weight this time. Should get a lovely cart into it from just behind the pace. Worth a ticket. LLANACORD (1) Tidy effort when 3rd three runs back at Trentham and dropping in grade. Chance in this field so include in exotics. CHEQUERBOARD (2) Really dug deep when winning last run at Cranbourne and gets some weight taken off today. Can take this out.
Race 6:
SHOP TIL I DROP (4) Hit the line well when 2nd last start here and having third run back from a spell. Should get a lovely cart into it from just behind the pace. Has genuine claims in this race. IN GOOD HEALTH (1) Jumped at $4.4 and ended up 1L behind the winner here last run on a good track. Should improve today. Blinkers on could be an important change. The one they all have to beat. ECUMENICAL (3) Dashed home into 2nd two runs back at this venue. Worth keeping safe. ZAYYDANI (9) Managed to finish 3rd last time at Flemington and can save some energy from the alley. Expecting to settle just off the pace. Don’t dismiss.
Race 7:
VASSILATOR (6) Left nothing to chance when winning last start at Flemington. Finishes off strongly. Looks a worthwhile proposition today. DR DRILL (3) Good show to run 3rd three runs back at Cranbourne and second up. Expecting to settle just off the pace. Ready to win. MORVADA (2) Handy enough when winning three runs back at Flemington and suited by the weight drop. Should come to hand quickly. Respect against this field. LORD VLADIVOSTOK (8) Shot clear to win three runs back around here and shows good early pace. Going well this preparation. Marginal chance.
Race 8:
GYTRASH (2) Goes well first up with 4 wins from 6 starts. Won narrowly last run at Rosehill. Likely to get a nice run behind the speed. Won’t be far away. BEHEMOTH (1) Had a comfortable win three runs back at the track but fresh after a break. Has shown early pace in races to date. Won a barrier trial at Strathalbyn on Apr 30th. Well suited and should prove hard to beat. INSTANT CELEBRITY (9) Landed the spoils when winning last time around here and displays very good closing speed. Worth a ticket. BEAU ROSSA (8) Did a good job when winning last start around here but up in class. Should land a nice spot just off the speed. Blinkers on could be an important change. Worth entertaining from a place and exotics perspective.
Race 9:
LADY DUNMORE (7) Really dug deep when winning last start at this course. Expecting to settle just off the pace. Tracking very well this preparation. Could prove to be very difficult to beat. AMBIDAZZLE (12) Snuck in a place when 2nd last start here. Should get going late. Suited. THE NATURAL (4) Winner two runs back at Cranbourne but going up in weight. Include. KORUTO (13) Was fighting out the finish when winning last time at Balaklava but rising in class. Will be looking to sit just behind the leaders. Been in the money 5 from 6 attempts this campaign. Looks a value runner.

Race 1:
LAUNDY (also accepted to run at Rosehill today) has been close up in the finish in both runs back from a spell and looks close to a win. He drops in weight today and has Damien Oliver to ride. Stablemate CHUCK A LUCK hasn’t managed a win since March last year but he too has been thereabouts in both runs back from a break. DR DEPENDABLE gets out to a more suitable trip now. He was close up in a blanket finish here last start. There were some excuses for VIVIDREDSKY at Terang last start. Be forgiving of that run and go on his good effort at Bendigo the start prior.
Selections: 7. Laundy (Top Tip), 3. Chuck A Luck, 2. Dr Dependable, 4. Vividredsky
Race 2:
KARACASU came from back in the field to just miss out in the Breeders Stakes here three weeks ago. BUTTER BLONDE went straight to the front at Warrnambool last time and kept kicking to score. She’ll push forward from a good draw here and could prove hard to run down. I AM IN THE MOOD comes off a tough on-pace win at Bendigo on debut. SALAMANDERS made amends for a luckless run at Mornington with a win at Geelong a fortnight ago.
Selections: 1. Karacasu (Top Tip), 5. I Am In The Mood, 4. Butter Blonde, 6. Salamanders
Race 3:
MADDOX returned to form with a very easy win at Ballarat at her second run back from a spell. She drops 3kg in weight and has drawn favourably in barrier 2. KAYSERI is capable of running a big race fresh. He won two races last time in work, most recently defeating Alsvior in a similar event in October. BALLE D’OR has a good first up record. Look for any positive market moves for her. AADELAD has trialled well leading into this. Other hopes are NOT ENOUGH EFFORT (not won since May 2019), TRYGVE (won well last week) and LARIMER STREET (in a new stable).
Selections: 11. Maddox (Top Tip), 6. Kayseri, 4. Balle D’or, 7. Aadelad
Race 4:
RUBISAKI drops in grade after running third to Instant Celebrity in the Sangster at her second run back from a spell. She’ll strip fitter again and has a terrific overall record. WILD VIXEN has never been out of the money fresh. She was given a letup following a forgivable run at the Gold Coast in January. HUMMA HUMMA hasn’t tasted success since winning this race last year. She hasn’t been faraway in the finish in recent runs and should not be overlooked. BROOKLYN HUSTLE hit the line fairly here last time. With the right run, she can get into the money.
Selections: 1. Rubisaki (Top Tip), 3. Wild Vixen, 2. Humma Humma, 4. Brooklyn Hustle
Race 5:
FLEXIBLE hit the line well in the Australian Oaks here a fortnight ago, finishing less than one length from the winner. She gives every indication that the longer trip will suit. LLANACORD wasn’t disgraced when 3 lengths from the winner at her first run in Australia. Out to 2400m is a plus for her. SHEBRINGZIT made good ground from back in the field to finish fourth behind Explosive Jack in last week’s Derby. CHEQUERBOARD made it two wins from her past three starts when she lumped 59.5kg to victory at Cranbourne last month. MIMI’S AWARD, MY ROCK ALY and BIARCHI are others with minor claims.
Selections: 3. Flexible (Top Tip), 1. Llanacord, 6. Shebringzit, 2. Chequerboard
Race 6:
SHOP TIL I DROP has hit the line strongly in both runs back from a long layoff and can only be further improved. The longer trip poses no problem. ZAYYDANI didn’t have the best of luck when placed behind Good And Proper at Flemington on Anzac Day. KISS AND CRY is capable of improving here over the 2000m trip. She was a bit one paced in the run to the line last time and will strip fitter again. IN GOOD HEALTH was close up in a blanket finish in the Queen Of The South a fortnight ago. With the right run, she’ll be competitive again.
Selections: 4. Shop Til I Drop (Top Tip), 9. Zayydani, 8. Kiss And Cry, 1. In Good Health
Race 7:
MAGNA BELLA got the money by a narrow margin when resuming, then finished just behind the placegetters in the City Of Adelaide. She drops 1kg in weight and has Craig Williams to ride. LORD VLADIVOSTOK was having his first run for eight weeks when a close third to Ae Of Clubs last time. DR DRILL wasn’t disgraced over 1400m when resuming. He gets out to a more suitable trip now. HASTA LA WAR ran home hard to finish a close fourth over this trip a fortnight ago. There were excuses for MORVADA at Caulfield two starts ago. Efforts either side of that have been good.
Selections: 15. Magna Bella (Top Tip), 8. Lord Vladivostok, 3. Dr Drill, 10. Hasta La War
Race 8:
GYTRASH was impressive winning over 1000m at Randwick first up last time in work. He was placed behind Classique Legend in the Everest then won at Rosehill before being sent for a spell. Jason Collett makes the trip down from Sydney to partner him again. 3yo filly INSTANT CELEBRITY has race fitness on her side. She looked good winning the Sangster Stakes a fortnight ago. BEHEMOTH was given a letup after running third in the All-Star Mile at Moonee Valley in March. SAVATOXL will push forward from a good draw and could take catching. He easily accounted for the opposition in the DC McKay on 1/5.
Selections: 2. Gytrash (Top Tip), 9. Instant Celebrity, 1. Behemoth, 6. Savatoxl
Race 9:
MUNSTER has shown ability in three runs since coming to Australia. He was sent for a spell following a narrow but strong win at Gawler in December. CHILL WITH TEEJAY was forced to cover ground at Murray Bridge last start and was still too good for the opposition. Jamie Kah takes the ride from the inside gate today. EXTREME THRILL usually goes well fresh. He was tuned up for this running second to Behemoth in a Strathalbyn trial on April 30th. Others with claims for multiples are LADY DUNMORE (racing in great form), THE NATURAL (blinkers back on), AMBIDAZZLE and MAID IN MILAN.
Selections: 8. Munster (Top Tip), 15. Chill With Teejay, 1. Extreme Thrill, 7. Lady Dunmore
Race 7: Hasta La War
Race 8: Behemoth
Rosehill
Race 2:
SATIN RIBBONS (12) Peter Snowden & Paul Snowden 2yo debutant by Capitalist. Won a barrier trial at Royal Randwick on Apr 20th. Major player who should go very close. SHIHONKA (7) Flew home into 2nd last run at Warwick Farm and was a debutant last start. Expecting to settle just off the pace. Key hope. HEADLINER (4) Rattled home nicely into 2nd two runs back at Randwick but first run back after spell. Placed 3rd in a barrier trial at Rosehill Gardens on Apr 27th. Better claims. ASHEMA (1) Got the upper hand late when winning three runs back at Randwick but up in weight today. Has run into the money 5 from 6 attempts this campaign. Market may be ultimate guide.
Race 4:
NEWSREADER (7) Got the cash when winning last start at Warwick Farm but first up today. Expecting to settle just off the pace. Has won all previous barrier trials. Should take beating. NAGS TO RICHES (16) Second up. Solid win last start at Gosford and goes down in weight. Each way prospects. MAJESTIC SHOT (2) Shot clear to win two runs back at Gosford and displays good tactical speed. Going well this preparation. Should be around the mark. MOLLYCODDLE (4) Having second run back from a break. Fought on gamely when winning last run at Canterbury and possesses very good closing speed. Looks a good chance of finishing in the money.
Race 5:
PRIME STAR (1) Has potential to improve on placing 3rd two runs back at this course but resumes from a break. Drawn to sit just in behind the speed. Success in a barrier trial at Royal Randwick on May 3rd. Rates a winning chance. EXOBOOM (2) Game effort to win last start at Hawkesbury and third up today. Should enjoy a cosy run off the pace. Major claims. SENSATIONALISATION (11) Third up from a spell. Brave effort to win last start at Warrnambool but up in class. At least a place chance. NICCI’S FLING (12) Kept chasing when 2nd three runs back at Randwick and can save some energy from the gate. Strong each way hope.
Race 6:
LOST AND RUNNING (7) Bolted in when winning last run at Randwick and carrying less weight this time. Shows good early pace. Genuine contender and likely to be first past the post. ELEVEN ELEVEN (1) Fought on gamely when winning three runs back at Gold Coast and likely to race off the speed. Has the ability to figure. ATHIRI (2) Second up from a break. Solid win three runs back at Eagle Farm. Among the major players. BANDERSNATCH (4) Goes well first up with 2 wins from 4 attempts. Showed promise when winning last run at Randwick. Can threaten if right today.
Race 7:
FITUESE (13) Races well fresh winning 3 from 3 attempts. Game effort to win three runs back at the track and dropping weight today. Placed 2nd in a barrier trial at Royal Randwick on May 3rd. Include in all exotics. EMBRACER (5) Got the cash when winning last start at Hawkesbury and shows good early pace. Worth a ticket. FIESTA (2) Looked good when 5th last time at Randwick and strong form at the distance. Will be motoring home late. Chance for exotics punters. CALIFORNIA ZIMBOL (3) Won narrowly three runs back at the track and ideal trip as proven previously. Market watch advised.

Sportsbet – Race Comments and Selections:
Race 2:
Plenty of speed from this group of young fillies. 5, 6, 9 and 10 have all shown toe at the races but the two newcomers – SACHELLO and SATIN RIBBONS – have gone like rockets in their trials and I suspect it is they that will be up front. This is Rosehill 1100m of course so they may well be hard to catch. Pressing up there – perhaps taking a trail today? – will be SWEET RUBY, on the fast turnaround from Gosford and looking for vengeance. HEADLINER will be heading to QLD, pending the weather. Expect a strong finish from her. ASHEMA has experienced all others and has proven herself of stakes quality.
Selections: 11. Sachello (Top Tip), 12. Satin Ribbons, 4. Headliner, 1. Ashema
Race 4:
There looks to be strong pace from this collection of 3YO fillies. 15 and 5 can cross up quickly. 11, 14 and 16 are there to keep company. MOLLYCODDLE came back with an impressive win and we saw last prep that she just kept improving as she got deeper into her campaign. Look for her closing out strongly. NEWSREADER will want the track to dry out as much as it can but she stepped up to the mark earlier in the year and started to fulfill some promise.
Selections: 4. Mollycoddle (Top Tip), 7. Newsreader, 2. Majestic Shot, 1. Ballistic Lover
Race 5:
Look at 7 and 13 head up front, along with 3 and 14. PRIME STAR has notched five minor placings since his latest win but he has graduated to a good level and if things go well here he would not be a ridiculous chance in something like the Stradbroke. Loved his trial – camped deep but just kept coming (coasting) to lead them past the line. EXOBOOM takes another step but there would only be a few doubting he could make it. This is a natural progression on from Hawkesbury. Peaks 3rd-up but it may be a tricky barrier to handle. Place chances to 5 and 12.
Selections: 1. Prime Star (Top Tip), 2. Exoboom, 5. Ahead Start, 12. Nicci’s Fling
Race 6:
A hard race to assess early as almost half of them – 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 – were dual acceptors. Whatever the final field it looks open for almost and running to lead without a heap of pressure and that can help him graduate from a BM88 romp to this higher level. Edges to 1300 as well but cannot imagine that to be a major problem. ATHIRI did not see a lot of luck at Hawkesbury but this is an idea; race for her to bounce back. BANDERSNATCH has another option and draws widest here but boasts solid fresh form. ELEVEN ELEVEN clearly has the class to deal with giving all the others plenty of weight.
Selections: 7. Lost And Running (Top Tip), 2. Athiri, 4. Bandersnatch, 1. Eleven Eleven
Race 7:
2, 4, 7, 8, 11, 15, 17 the dual acceptors here. Speed from 5, 10, 11 and 14. FITUESE with compelling fresh form and can see her rushing at the leaders late in the piece. Trialled at Randwick last week and went very well indeed. FIESTA can storm from the back when she is set up with a solid tempo, and that ought to be the case here. BANDERSNATCH draws wide in both options today but he can go well fresh so reluctant to rule out. EMBRACER blitzed his rivals at Hawkesbury, and meets half a dozen of the same ones here.
Selections: 13. Fituese (Top Tip), 4. Bandersnatch (SCRATCHED), 2. Fiesta, 5. Embracer
Race 7: 13. Fituese
