GWS vs. St Kilda |
St Kilda have won four straight while GWS have made a 1-4 start to the season. The Saints have gone 4-0 when installed as the favourite against GWS and they have covered the line in their last eight away games spanning this season and the last. I would back St Kilda in the head-to-head at 1.75 (bet365, Picklebet).
Western Bulldogs vs. Adelaide |
The Western Bulldogs have won their last four against Adelaide and the visitors have a poor record at Mars Stadium. Adelaide have gone 1-10 as the away team over the last 12 months and 1-6 as the away underdog against the Bulldogs in recent years. I would back the Western Bulldogs in the head-to-head at 1.28 (Picklebet).
Fremantle vs. Carlton |
Four of Fremantle’s five home wins over the last 12 months were by 1-39 points while all ten Carlton wins were by 1-39 points. Eleven of Carlton’s twelve away wins over this period were by 1-39 points and eleven of the last twelve games between the two in Perth were settled by 1-39 points. I would back ‘Any Other Result’ in the Tri-Bets 39.5 market at 1.19 (Sportsbet).
North Melbourne vs. Geelong |
Geelong have won eight straight against North Melbourne and the Cats have a 6-1 record on the back of a loss over the last 12 months. Geelong have a 7-2 record as the away favourite over the last 12 months while North Melbourne have gone 0-1-7 as the home underdog. I’m not sure about the line. North Melbourne boast a 7-1 record at the line as the home underdog over the last 12 months but they were taken apart 71-139 by the Western Bulldogs last week. I would back Geelong in the head-to-head at 1.19 (bet365, Picklebet).
Gold Coast vs. Brisbane |
Brisbane have won six straight against Gold Coast and their last five wins over the Suns were all by 40+ points. Brisbane have covered the line in each of their last five games against their neighbours. The Suns have gone 2-6 as the home underdog over the last 12 months and they have a 3-12 record against Brisbane as the home underdog. I would back Brisbane at the head-to-head at 1.37 (Picklebet).
