Geelong vs. Fremantle |
Geelong have gone 7-1 as the home favourite over the last 12 months and they have won six of their last eight when installed as the home favourite against Fremantle. Geelong have gone 26-4 at GMHBA Stadium since 2017. Fremantle bring a four-game winning streak into this game and their only defeat this season was by 10 points. Six of Geelong’s last eight home wins were by 1-39 points. I would back Geelong 1-39 at 1.96 (Unibet).
Adelaide vs. GWS |
Adelaide have won three of their last four while GWS have gone 1-5 so far this season. Adelaide have gone 7-2 in their last nine at home against GWS and they have won 7 out of 8 when installed as the favourite against the Giants. GWS have lost their last four away games. Eight of the Giants’ ten defeats over the last twelve months were by 1-39 points while six of Adelaide’s seven wins were by the same margin. I would back Adelaide 1-39 at 2.20 (bet365).
St Kilda vs. Port Adelaide |
St Kilda have come back from a halftime deficit to win in three of their five victories this season. Port Adelaide have lost two of the threes games that they led at halftime this season. I would back Port Adelaide / St Kilda in the HT/FT double market at 6.50 (bet365).
Sydney vs. Brisbane |
Sydney are averaging 99 points scored per game this season while Brisbane lead the league with 106 points scored on average. Sydney’s average total score this season is 173 while Brisbane’s average total is 179. Five of Sydney’s six games this season went over the total while four of Brisbane’s last five games did the same. The last three meetings between the two sides went over the total. I would back over 163.5 at 1.91 (bet365).
