Fulham vs. Wolves |
Under 2.5 goals at 1.79 (Colossalbet)
Under 1.5 goals at 3.40 (bet365)
Fulham are struggling for goals without injured striker Aleksandar Mitrovic. Defensively they remain sound, however, which has contributed towards each of their last five games going under 2.5 goals. Four of those games went under 1.5 goals. Each of the last five meetings between Fulham and Wolves went under 2.5 goals and each of their last four meetings went under 1.5 goals.
Everton vs. Aston Villa |
Everton in the head-to-head at 2.48 (Colossalbet)
Under new manager Sean Dyche Everton have won back-to-back home games by 1-0 margins. Their only disappointment last week was they didn’t beat Leeds by a bigger margin after dominating the game and not conceding a single shot on target. In their home game prior to that Leeds defeated league-leaders Arsenal. Goals are still hard to come by for Everton, but they are taking on an Aston Villa side that has conceded eleven goals in their last three games.
Leicester City vs. Arsenal |
Arsenal in the head-to-head at 1.70 (Colossalbet)
Arsenal have won four consecutive games against Leicester City and they have gone 12-1-4 as the away favourite over the last twelve months. Leicester City have gone 2-1-5 since the World Cup. Defence has been an issue. The Foxes failed to keep a clean sheet in all eight of those games and six of their opponents scored more than once.
Over 2.5 goals at 1.72 (bet365)
Leicester City’s last four games saw 4, 6, 5 and 3 total goals, while Arsenal’s last two games saw 4 and 6 total goals. The first meeting between the two sides this season saw 6 total goals.
Leeds vs. Southampton |
Southampton in the head-to-head at 3.80 (bet365)
Southampton +0.5 at 1.87 (bet365)
This is a value bet. Leeds barely fired a shot in their 0-1 defeat to Everton last week, which extended their winless run to ten games. Leeds have failed to score in four of their last five games, which is a big contributor to their struggles. Southampton have had their struggles too, but they have been decent on the road, with their 4-0-8 away record the 11th best in the league. Southampton have won two of their last three away fixtures.
Bournemouth vs. Man City |
Man City in the head-to-head at 1.28 (bet365, BlueBet)
Man City -1.5 at 1.76 (BoomBet, Colossalbet)
Bournemouth will rue their timing because the worst time to play Man City is on the back of a draw or defeat for the Sky Blues. Going back to December, 2020, Man City have gone 21-0-0 in the EPL on the back of a Premier League defeat or draw. Out of the seven times this has happened this season, six of those wins were by 2+ goal margins. Added to the mix is the fact that Bournemouth have a 0-0-11 record in the Premier League against Manchester City. Eight of those defeats were by 2+ goals.
Crystal Palace vs. Liverpool |
Liverpool in the head-to-head at 1.72 (bet365, BlueBet, Colossalbet)
While this is a tricky fixture for Liverpool, it is reflected in the odds. Crystal Palace have become a tough nut to crack and have managed to draw four of their last five fixtures, however the Eagles have a terrible 1-1-7 home record against Liverpool since promotion. Liverpool have gone 10-1-0 in their last eleven meetings against Palace and the visitors enter this fixture in improved form, having dispatched Everton (home) and Newcastle (away) by 2-0 margins. This will be Crystal Palace’s 8th consecutive game against a side in the top half of the table and they failed to win any of those previous seven games.
Tottenham vs. Chelsea |
Tottenham in the head-to-head at 2.45 (bet365)
Tottenham +0.5 (double chance) at 1.43 (BoomBet)
This is primarily a bet against Chelsea and their under-fire manager Graham Potter. The Blues limp into this fixture in 0-3-1 form and they failed to score in three of those four fixtures. Tottenham have won three of their last four games, which included a home victory over Manchester City. Spurs have gone 13-0-3 as the home favourite over the last twelve months while Chelsea have gone 0-1-1 as the away underdog.
