Luton

Luton vs. West Ham

West Ham

West Ham in the head-to-head at 1.80 (Bet Right)

Luton’s opening two fixtures in the Premier League have both resulted in defeats by 3-goal margins. West Ham were poor away from home last season but they won away last week by a 2-goal margin over Brighton. This came on the back of a 2-goal win over Chelsea. With the Hammers still fresh early in the season and looking ruthless in attack, I’m happy to back them in the head-to-head against the Premier League newcomers.

Man City

Man City vs. Fulham

Man City

Man City in the head-to-head at 1.17 (bet365)

Yes, the odds are short, but Man City have won 11 in a row at home as well as 11 in a row against Fulham. Phil Foden will likely return to the starting lineup this week after being rotated to the bench against in Gameweek 3. In terms of expected goals per game, Man City top the table after three rounds, while Fulham are ranked 20th. The Cottagers have rode their luck so far this campaign. They conceded 19 shots (9 on target) against Everton, 17 shots (8 on target) against Brentford and 19 shots (11 on target) against Arsenal.

Burnley

Burnley vs. Tottenham

Tottenham

Tottenham in the head-to-head at 1.93 (Betfair)

Burnley have lost their opening two fixtures by 3-0 and 3-1 margins. Tottenham have made a fine start to the season under new manager Ange Postecoglou. James Maddison is showing to be an astute signing. Spurs have scored twice in all three games this season and they have kept back-to-back clean sheets coming into this game.

Brentford

Brentford vs. Bournemouth

Bournemouth

Brentford in the head-to-head at 1.70 (Betfair)

Spanning this season and the last, Brentford bring 4-2-0 form into this clash. They won this fixture 2-0 over Bournemouth last season. Spanning this season and the last, the Cherries bring 0-1-6 form into this game.

Brentford +0.5 at 1.22 (Betfair)

Brentford have gone 6-6-0 as the home favourite over the last twelve months.

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace vs. Wolves

Wolverhampton

Crystal Palace in the head-to-head at 1.96 (Unibet)

Crystal Palace have gone 9-2-2 as the favourite over the last twelve months and they have won their last three home games against Wolverhampton. Wolves have gone 2-3-11 as the away underdog over the last twelve months and their cause this week hasn’t been helped by star player Matheus Nunes missing training in his efforts to secure a move to Man City.

Arsenal

Arsenal vs. Man Utd

Man Utd

Arsenal in the head-to-head at 1.82 (Unibet)

Arsenal have gone 12-4-1 as the home favourite over the last twelve months, while Man Utd have gone 0-1-5 as the away underdog. Arsenal won last their last two home games over Man Utd. Looking back further, the Gunners have gone 6-2-2 for the last ten league games as the home favourite against United. Manchester United have made a 2-0-1 start to the season but they had to ride their luck in both home wins and their single away fixture resulted in a 2-0 defeat to Tottenham.
