Crystal Palace vs. Tottenham |
Tottenham in the head-to-head at 1.85 (Betfair)
I will continue to bet against Crystal Palace so long as they remain without Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze. Since Eze’s injury they have failed to score in their 0-0 home draw with Nottingham Forest and 0-4 away defeat to Newcastle. Tottenham have won three games in a row against Crystal Palace by a combined 8 goals to nil. Spurs continue to be a revelation this year under new head coach Postecoglou. They bring 7-1-0 form into this clash.
Tottenham to win to nil at 3.35 (BoomBet)
All four of Crystal Palace’s home defeats over the last twelve months were to nil. Since promotion, five of their six home defeats to Tottenham were to nil. Crystal Palace have only scored one goal across their last four games, while Tottenham have recorded back-to-back clean sheets coming into this fixture.
West Ham vs. Everton |
West Ham in the head-to-head at 2.10 (bet365)
West Ham +0.5 at 1.37 (Betfair)
West Ham have won their last two home fixtures against Everton. The Hammers’ recent form looks patchy at first sight, however they’ve had a tough run of fixtures. West Ham have won their last three fixtures against sides in the bottom half of the table. Everton have only won twice away from home over the last twelve months.
Liverpool vs. Nottingham Forest |
Liverpool in the head-to-head at 1.29 (bet365)
Liverpool have gone 13-2-0 as the home favourite over the last twelve months and they bring a four-game winning streak at home into this game. Nottingham Forest have gone 2-3-12 as the away underdog over the last twelve months.
Aston Villa vs. Luton Town |
Aston Villa in the head-to-head at 1.26 (Unibet)
Aston Villa have won eleven consecutive home games. Their four home fixtures this season have seen them beat Everton 4-0, Crystal Palace 3-1, Brighton 6-1 and West Ham 4-1. Two of Luton’s three away defeats this season were by 3-goal margins. There is one danger for Aston Villa in this game and that is their schedule. This game comes hot on the heels of their away fixture in the Europa League. For this reason I will stay away from the Asian Handicap this week and simply back Villa in the head-to-head.
Man Utd vs. Man City |
Man City in the head-to-head at 1.77 (Betfair)
Manchester United to continue to pick up wins without looking convincing. They have gone 1-0-5 as the underdog over the last twelve months and they have lost two of their last three home games. Over the last decade, Manchester City have gone 3-1-1 as the away favourite against United.
