2024 AFL Table Prediction
We conducted a survey of 27 pundit table predictions to help assess each team’s chances.
The following table ranks each team by their expectations from the surveyed pundits. The standard deviation (Stdev) column indicates how widely dispersed the predictions were. The best and worst predictions for each team are also provided.
Brisbane came out strongly on top, with an average rank of 1.8. They were followed by Collingwood at 3.0 and GWS at 3.5. At the other end of the table, West Coast are the clear favourite for the wooden spoon. Sadly for the Eagles, West Coast had the lowest standard deviation in predictions, with every pundit predicting a final placing between 16th and 18th. Richmond had the highest standard deviation, with the best prediction coming in at 4 and the worst coming in at 16.
