Chelsea vs. Bournemouth |
Chelsea in the head-to-head at 1.50 (bet365)
I always have a strong bias towards the home side at the end of the season. The home side will seek to end the season on a high, while the away side – unless they have a specific target to play for – will have one eye on the off-season. Chelsea have won four consecutive home games and their last three home wins were by a combined 13 goals to nil. Looking back further, Chelsea have scored 2+ goals in their last seven home fixtures. Bournemouth have lost their last two games and they have gone 2-3-9 as the away underdog over the last twelve months.
Liverpool vs. Wolves |
Liverpool in the head-to-head at 1.18 (bet365)
Liverpool will be looking to send Jürgen Klopp off on a high. They have gone 14-3-1 as the home favourite over the last twelve months and they have won six consecutive home games against Wolves. Wolverhampton have lost four of their last five games coming into this clash.
Liverpool -1.5 at 1.48 (bet365)
Twelve of Liverpool’s fourteen home wins over the last twelve months were by 2+ goals. Four of their six previous home Premier League wins over Wolverhampton were by 2+ goals.
Crystal Palace vs. Aston Villa |
Crystal Palace +0.5 at 1.42 (Betfair)
NOTE: this tip assumes that Tottenham will fail to beat Manchester City midweek.
Crystal Palace should be a real handful. Their key players are back from injury and are all on fire. Jean-Philippe Mateta can’t stop scoring and this might be the Eagles swan song for Olise and Eze ahead of expected transfer interest. Palace’s last three home games resulted in a 5-2 win over West Ham, 2-0 win over Newcastle and a 4-0 win over Manchester United. The Eagles have gone 6-4-2 as the home favourite over the last twelve months. Aston Villa will most likely have the 4th spot locked in so they can take it easy and go through the motions. Villa have gone 2-3-5 as the away underdog over the last twelve months.
Burnley vs. Nottm Forest |
Both Teams To Score: Yes at 1.53 (Betfair)
Burnley have only kept one clean sheet at home this season, while Nottingham Forest have only kept two clean sheets away from home over the last twelve months.
Brighton vs. Man Utd |
Brighton +0.5 at 1.43 (Betfair)
Brighton have won four in a row against Manchester United. The Seagulls have won four of their six home fixtures against United since their promotion into the Premier League. Brighton have gone 8-5-1 as the home favourite over the last twelve months, while Man Utd have gone 2-2-6 as the away underdog.
