At the time of writing the biggest Draftstars contest for this round is the $50,000 competition for the Essendon v Sydney clash on Friday night. Entry costs $15 and the top 25% of participants will receive a payout.
Gold Coast vs. Melbourne |
Gold Coast have suffered through an 11-game losing streak against Melbourne but they have a good opportunity to end that run on Saturday. The Suns have gone 7-0 in the head-to-head and 6-1 at the line as the home favourite over the last twelve months, while Melbourne have lost their last six away games. I would back Gold Coast in the head-to-head at 1.42 (bet365).
GWS vs. Fremantle |
GWS have found their mojo again. They have both won and covered the line in their last six fixtures. The Giants boast an 8-2 home record this season and they have a 4-1 record as the home favourite against Fremantle. GWS won this fixture by a 70-point margin last season. I would back GWS in the head-to-head at 1.50 (Picklebet).
West Coast vs. Carlton |
Carlton’s injury toll continues to mount. Charlie Curnow and Harry McKay are among the six new players on the rehab table. The Blues now have 17 players on the injury list. Carlton have now failed to cover the line in their last six games. West Coast, meanwhile, have won two games in a row under caretaker coach Jarrad Schofield. This is their final home game of the season as they look to end their dreadful campaign on a positive note. I would back West Coast in the head-to-head at 1.91 (bet365).
