Everton

Everton vs. Brentford

Brentford

Everton in the head-to-head at 2.46 (Betfair)
Everton +0.5 at 1.44 (Betfair)

The venue for this game is key to this pick. Brentford have gone 0-0-5 away from home this season and over the last twelve months they have gone 3-1-14 away from Gtech Community Stadium. Everton are in a dry patch, but their last two games were away from home and prior to that they drew Fulham – a side with the 6th best away record. Everton won their two previous home fixtures against Brentford.

Fulham

Fulham vs. Wolves

Wolves

Fulham in the head-to-head at 1.70 (Betfair)
Fulham +0.5 at 1.21 (Betfair)

Wolverhampton picked up their first win in the previous Gameweek, however they were at home and the visiting Southampton can count themselves unlucky with the result. The round before that Wolves were lucky to draw Palace after the under-strength Eagles failed to take more of their chances. Spanning this season and the last, Wolverhampton are on a 1-3-10 run. Fulham, meanwhile, sit 7th on the table and have made a 3-1-1 start at home. In the Premier League, Fulham have gone 3-1-1 as the home favourite against Wolverhampton.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa vs. Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace

Aston Villa in the head-to-head at 1.61 (Unibet)
Aston Villa +0.5 at 1.19 (Betfair)

Palace have made a 1-4-6 start to the season and their efforts have been hampered by injuries to Eddie Nketiah, Adam Wharton, Eberechi Eze and Jefferson Lerma. This is on top of the recent suspension to midfielder Daichi Kamada. History suggests a draw is still on the cards. Villa have gone 6-5-3 as the home favourite over the last twelve months, while Palace have gone 1-7-7 as the away underdog.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth vs. Brighton

Brighton

Bournemouth in the head-to-head at 2.44 (Betfair)
Bournemouth +0.5 at 1.47 (Betfair)

Bournemouth have won three in a row at home and they boast a 6-3-1 record as the home favourite over the last twelve months. Brighton have gone 1-3-8 record as the away underdog over the last twelve months and they have gone 0-0-3 as the away underdog against Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Over 2.5 goals at 1.62 (bet365)

Six of Brighton’s last seven games went over 2.5 goals and four of those went over 3.5. Both meetings between Bournemouth and Brighton last season went over 2.5 goals.

Newcastle

Newcastle vs. West Ham

West Ham

Newcastle in the head-to-head at 1.52 (Unibet)

Newcastle suffered through a five-game winless run but they have found their footing in recent weeks. The Magpies defeated Arsenal 1-0 at home and then ended Nottingham Forest’s impressive run with a 3-1 away win. West Ham, in contrast, limp into this fixture on the back of a 3-0 away defeat to Nottingham Forest and a poor 0-0 home draw with Everton. It took the Hammers 44 minutes to register a shot against the Toffees. West Ham’s last two away games resulted in defeats by a combined 7 goals to 1.
