Melbourne City vs Brisbane RoarSaturday January 11, 5:00pm |
Last time out at Suncorp Stadium it was City who battered the Roar 4-1 thanks to a double from Israeli Forward Yonatan Cohen. Prior to that at the exact same venue Brisbane came out on top 5-1 after 19 year old Striker Thomas Waddingham also found the back of the net twice. Their meeting before that resulted in a record 8-1 victory to Melbourne at AAMI Park. A thrashing which saw the ‘Citizens’ shoot an incredibly impressive 14//24 on target! And also at AAMI before that Aidan O’Neil sourced a winner in the 88th minute via his close range header as City got up 2-1. These two teams aren’t afraid to go at it when pitted against one another. Can Melbourne continue their rise up the ladder or will Brisbane jump off the bottom of it?

Sydney FC vs Central Coast MarinersSaturday January 11, 7:35pm |
Sydney FC and the Central Coast is simply the rivalry that keeps on giving! In last seasons semi final series it was the Mariners who advanced through to the ‘Big Dance’ after claiming a one-goal advantage over the course of their two legs against the ‘Sky Blues’. A testing series that arguably should’ve gone into ET in Gosford after the visitors controversially had a goal ruled out in their Inudstree Group Stadium encounter. However fast forwarding to the most recent meeting between these two arch-rivals we witnessed a bewildering Harrison Devilish-Mears see red in the first half away from home, a sending off which the Mariners took full advantage of in their 2-1 victory thanks to strikes from Alou Kuol in the 58th minute and then again in the 70th minute. And a win for either team would put them on the cusp of a finals spot. So with all that’s on the line here will it be Ufuk Talay’s Men or Mark Jackson’s troops who claim the decisive dub?Sydney’s record – Last three results – Top Goal Scorer: -W4, D2, L4.
-D 2-2 vs Newcastle @ McDonald Jones Stadium, W 3-0 vs Melbourne Victory @ Allianz Stadium and D 3-3 vs Adelaide @ Hindmarsh Stadium.

Central Coast’s record – Last three results – Top Goal Scorer: -W3, D5, L3.
-W 3-1 vs Brisbane @ Suncorp Stadium, D 1-1 vs Melbourne City @ Industree Group Stadium and L 1-4 vs Auckland @ Industree Group Stadium.
-Alou Kuol 2 goals from 11 games.

Also back there to be goals in both H1 and H2 at $1.36 (bet365)
Additionally look for H2 to have two + goals in it at $1.57 (Unibet)
Perth Glory vs Auckland FCSaturday January 11, 9:45pm |
Late last month it was the unsuspecting ‘Black Knights’ who were upset and outdone by a far more determined Western United side at home. Could history repeat itself at the hands of Perth Glory? As the Glory get ready to host Auckland FC they do so having come oh so close to what would’ve been just their second win of the season. Leading the ‘Green & Black’ 2-1 at home in ET they conceded a goal 90+1 in. Then five-minutes into the added injury time the unthinkable happened, Jordan Lauton out of nowhere pulled out a scintillating bicycle kick for the win that would have made even the likes of Ronaldo & Messi proud! Meanwhile for Steve Corica & Co they looked pretty average versus the Victory at home as they shot just 3/8 on target and only had 48% possession of the ball. Auckland still occupy 1st place on the A-League ladder but not by much. Can the Glory claim a ‘glorious’ win or will it be the visitors who reassert their dominance right here?
Perth’s record – Last three results – Top Goal Scorer: -W1, D2, L8.
-L 2-3 vs Western @ HBF Park, L 0-3 vs Macarthur @ HBF Park and W 1-0 vs Brisbane @ Suncorp Stadium.
-Adam Taggart 3 goals + 2 assists from 10 games.
Auckland’s record – Last three results – Top Goal Scorer: -W7, D2, L1.
-D 0-0 vs Melbourne Victory @ Go Media Stadium, W 4-1 vs Central Coast @ Industree Group Stadium and L 0-4 vs Western @ Go Media Stadium.
-Jake Brimmer 3 goals + 1 assist and Guillermo May 3 goals + 1 assist from 10 games each.
Betting tips: Pick an Auckland victory at $1.35 (Betfair)
Also pick only them to score at $2.20 (Betr)
And look for the visitors to win the most corners at $1.40 (Unibet)
