Chelsea vs. Bournemouth |
Bournemouth +0.5 at 2.38 (Betfair)
Chelsea are winless (0-2-2) in their last four Premier League games and this is despite a very manageable fixture list: Everton, Fulham, Ipswich and Crystal Palace. The Blues only managed to score two goals across those games. Bournemouth, meanwhile, are undefeated (5-3-0) in their last eight.
Bournemouth +1.5 at 1.60 (bet365)
In addition to the above, since promotion into the Premier League, four of Bournemouth’s five defeats at Stamford Bridge were by 1-goal margins.
West Ham vs. Fulham |
Fulham +0.5 at 1.50 (Betfair)
West Ham have won just one out of nine games as the home underdog over the last twelve months. They have won just one of their last five games coming into fixture. Fulham, meanwhile, have lost just one out of six games as the away favourite over the same period. The Cottagers bring an eight-game unbeaten streak into this clash. The list of teams that failed to beat them during that run includes Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea.
Everton vs. Aston Villa |
Under 2.5 goals at 1.88 (Unibet)
Under 1.5 goals at 3.70 (Unibet)
0-0 correct score at 12.00 (Unibet)
Eleven of Everton’s last thirteen games went under 2.5 goals. Seven of those games went under 1.5 and five ended goalless. Aston Villa bring poor away form into this clash. The Villans have lost five consecutive away games and this is largely driven by the fact that they only scored two goals across those five defeats. Aston Villa’s last three visits to Goodison Park went under 2.5 goals and their game last season resulted in a goalless draw.
Ipswich vs. Brighton |
Draw at 3.85 (Unibet)
Brighton have drawn their last four games. Looking back further, they have drawn six of their last eight. Ipswich enter this game on the back of a home stalemate with Fulham. The first meeting between Ipswich and Brighton this season resulted in a draw.
