Newcastle

Newcastle vs. Bournemouth

Bournemouth

NOTE: at the time of writing, Alexander Isak is rated as a 75% chance of playing. The tips below presume he will play. Those who are more conservative should wait for confirmation that he will feature before committing.

Newcastle in the head-to-head at 1.67 (Betfair)
Newcastle +0.5 at 1.22 (Betfair)

Newcastle have won nine consecutive games in all competitions and striker Alexander Isak can’t stop scoring at the moment. Bournemouth bring an impressive 9-game unbeaten streak into this clash, but their fixture list was relatively easy. The Cherries are battling a lengthy injury list at the moment. Their absentees include strikers Evanilson and Enes Ünal. Those who are conservative will prefer the Asian Handicap wager because four of the last five meetings between Newcastle and Bournemouth resulted in a draw.

West Ham

West Ham vs. Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace

West Ham +0.5 at 1.54 (Betfair)

West Ham are enjoying a new manager bounce under Graham Potter. The Hammers have already defeated Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this season. The Eagles have suffered a personnel setback after Chelsea recalled centre-back Trevoh Chalobah from his loan spell. Palace beat Leicester City away from home midweek, but they were second best for a good portion of that game. Crystal Palace have only won two games out of fifteen as the away underdog over the last twelve months, while West Ham have only lost two games out of ten as the home favourite.

Leicester

Leicester vs. Fulham

Fulham

Fulham in the head-to-head at 2.02 (Betfair)
Fulham +0.5 at 1.32 (Betfair)

This is simply a bet against Leicester City, who have lost six consecutive games. They only scored two goals across those six defeats. The appointment of Ruud van Nistelrooy as manager is currently not working out at all. Was it a knee-jerk reaction to his interim role at Man Utd?

Brentford

Brentford vs. Liverpool

Liverpool

Liverpool in the head-to-head at 1.57 (Betfair)

Brentford held Man City to a 2-2 draw in midweek, but Liverpool’s form is a cut above City’s. Brentford recently hosted Nottingham Forest and Arsenal and the Bees lost both of those fixtures by 2-goal margins. Liverpool won their last four games against Brentford by a combined 10 goals to 1.

Nottm Forest

Nottm Forest vs. Southampton

Southampton

Nottingham Forest in the head-to-head at 1.42 (bet365)

Nottingham Forest bring 6-1-0 form into this clash. The only team they failed to beat during that run was league-leaders Liverpool. Southampton haven’t played their midweek fixture away against Man Utd at the time of writing, but prior to that they were in 0-2-8 form. Forest’s midweek game took place two days before Southampton’s, so they should be the fresher of the two sides. Southampton (prior to the United game) have gone 0-2-8 away from home this season.
