With the Wanderers preparing to face off against the ‘Bulls’ there are countless flare-infused and cow-bell ringing related reasons as to why this Derby has yet another level to reach. When these two arch-rivals last met it was Macarthur who prevailed 3-2 in a classic battle for the ages at CommBank Stadium. Neither teams were trigger shy as the victors shot 5/17 on target. Whilst the ‘Red & Black’ landed 4/20 in the zone. Aside from that within the first half alone we witnessed four goals, including Juan Mata’s solo A-League strike to date. And when Western Sydney defender Anthony Pantazopoulos scored 10-minutes into the start of the second-half that meant it was game on. These two teams don’t disappoint when pitted against one another.
