Aston Villa vs. Liverpool |
![]() |
Liverpool 0 (draw no bet) at 1.46 (Betfair)
Liverpool +0.5 at 1.31 Betfair)
This is the second game for Aston Villa in a sequence in which they play five fixtures in 14 days. One of the trends for Unai Emery’s team this year is they have been far less effective on a short rest. This doesn’t bode well for the rest of February. They aren’t helped by injuries, either. Boubacar Kamara limped off after just 15 minutes against Ipswich. He joins fellow defenders Pau Torres, Ezri Konsa and Matty CashVilla on the sideline. Aston Villa failed to beat Ipswich at home on the weekend despite the fact that the visitors went down to ten men in the 40th minute. Villa are now winless in four league games. Liverpool haven’t been at their best, but they continue to avoid defeat. The Reds are unbeaten (15-6-0) in 21 league games. They have gone 6-2-0 in their last eight fixtures against Aston Villa.

Brentford in the head-to-head at 2.05 (betr)

Everton in the head-to-head at 2.63 (Unibet)
Everton +0.5 at 1.50 (Betfair)
Everton have their tails up at the moment. No other team has collected more points than Everton’s 13 (4-1-0) since David Moyes rejoined. The Toffees have gone 6-2-2 as the home favourite over the last twelve months. Man Utd, meanwhile, have lost three of their last four. The Red Devils have gone 2-3-6 as the away underdog over the last twelve months.
